Mahanoy Area gained momentum in the second quarter, outscoring Pine Grove 18-12 to lead 31-25 at halftime. The third quarter saw Mahanoy Area’s defense clamp down while their offense surged, creating a 19-point lead heading into the final quarter.
The Golden Bears sealed the win with a strong fourth quarter, finishing the game with a 20-point margin.
