On Saturday, the Frackville Business and Professional Association brought holiday magic to the community with their inaugural Christmas on the Mountain event.
Families joined the festive gathering, which featured horse-drawn trolley rides, free s’mores and hot cocoa, and a variety of vendors and food trucks offering food.
Adding to the excitement was a surprise visit from the Grinch, who, after being "released" by the Frackville Police Department, delighted children with a playful snowball fight.
The event was a success, bringing together residents and visitors to celebrate the season and spread Christmas cheer. Organizers are already hinting at plans for a bigger celebration next year.
