A fire heavily damaged a home in Shenandoah Saturday morning.
Around 8:15am, Saturday, emergency personnel were called to 431 West Atlantic Street in Shenandoah for a house fire.
Responding units could see a column of black smoke and a working fire page was dispatched.
Upon arrival, Fire Chief Rick Examitas advised of fire showing from the front of the home on the second floor.
A 2nd alarm was also issued calling in extra manpower.
Firefighters battled flames and temperatures in the teens bringing the fire under control within 45 minutes.
All occupants were reported to have escaped the home unharmed.
According to Chief Examitas, as of Saturday afternoon, Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Joseph Hall is handling the investigation, and the cause is still under investigation. It was determined that the fire started in the second-floor bedroom.
According to Patricia Daley of the American Red Cross, one adult and one child are being assisted.
