Interstate 81 is open again in Schuylkill County after an overnight crash in Foster Township.
The crash occurred around 1:00am in the Northbound lanes of Interstate 81 near mile marker 117 (just north of the Minersville exit).
The crash involved a tractor trailer that rear-ended another tractor trailer ejecting the driver of the striking vehicle.
The crash created a large debris field blocking the highway and shutting down the roadway for several hours until it was cleared.
The ejected driver was reported to have sustained minor injuries.
Responding to the scene were fire companies from Englewood, Frackville, and Minersville.
