A DoorDash driver from New Jersey is facing charges in Schuylkill County for allegedly stealing a tip jar from a local restaurant.
According to a report from St. Clair Police 44-year-old Robert Sanford Munden of Vineland, NJ, is facing charges of theft by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property.
The incident occurred on November 26, 2024, at Uma Hibachi in St. Clair. Police say Munden was identified as the suspect after the restaurant owner reviewed surveillance footage showing him taking the tip jar.
Munden, who frequently visited the business as part of his DoorDash deliveries, is accused of stealing a jar containing between $600 and $700 in cash.
