A Pottsville man was locked up in Schuylkill County Prison over the weekend after a fight in City bar.
The first officer arrived on scene, and a male, identified as Isaiah Daniel Parsons, of Pottsville, was acting aggressive towards the officer and other patrons inside the Pottsville Pub and Inn. When another officer arrived, they tried to move other patrons away from the first officer on scene.
Parsons then became angrier and more started to resist officers. Parsons fought with police and pulled and officers jacket over his head and continued to strike him in the head despite commands to stop resisting.
Several control tactics were utilized to get Parsons under control and taken into custody, including the use of a Taser.
While Parsons was being processed, he was found to be in possession of Marijuana.

- 2 counts of Aggravated Assault
- 1 count of Resisting Arrest or Other Law Enforcement
- 2 counts of harassment
- 1 count of Disorderly Conduct
- 1 count of Possession of Controlled Substance or Drugs.
Isaiah Parsons was arraigned before on-call Magisterial District Judge Andrew Serena and remanded to the county prison in lieu of $15,000.00 10% bail.
