Dolores M. Zimmerman, 94, of Pine Grove, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 in Providence Place, Pine Grove.

Born on April 20, 1930 in Middleport, she was a daughter of the late George C. and Eva R. Klinger Miller.

Dolores was a graduate of Pine Grove High School.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove and was an avid golfer.

Preceding her in death were her husband of 56 years, George W. Zimmerman and a brother Vincent Miller.

Surviving are a brother, George and wife Marcia Miller of Hagerstown, MD; a sister-in-law, Irene Reni Miller of Friedensburg; nieces and nephews.

Per Dolores' request, there will be no services. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Dr., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory.

The H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove is in charge of arrangements.

Randall George Marberger
, age 67, of Washington Township, Pennsylvania died December 26, 2024, at the Harrisburg Hospital.

He was born on February 13, 1957 in Pottsville, PA the son of [the late] Donald and Elaine (Musket) Marberger.

He was a retired stone mason and had worked for Marberger Masonry, A&S Builders, and RS Richert and Son's.

He also had worked security at the Berks County Home, Reading, Big Lots Distribution Center, Tremont, and was a former Walmart Greeter, Elizabethville. Recently he drove school van for the Upper Dauphin School District.

He had attended Reigles Bible Fellowship Church, Millersburg and Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.

Randall is survived by his wife of 50 years, Bonnie Jean (Moulfair) Marberger; Their children, Todd Alan Marberger, Elizabethville, Brad George Marberger (Dana Synder) , Lykens, John Carl (Jamie) Marberger, Elizabethville and Amber Lynn (Ryan) Ellison, Tower City; Brother, Donald Wayne (Janie) Marberger, Mohnton, Sister, Beth (Ed) Neidlinger, Pine Grove and brother, Timothy Marberger, Pine Grove; Brother-in-law, Edwin Barry, Sacramento and an uncle, Harold (Phyllis) Marberger; Grandchildren, Stefan, Dylan, Reese, Luka and Sage; Many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by: Daughter-in-law, Paula Marberger, Sister, Wanda "Dee" Barry and uncle, David Marberger.

There will be a visitation held on Friday, January 3, 2025 at Hoover-Boyer Funeral Homes, Ltd., Elizabethville from 10-11 AM Services will start at 11 AM officiated by Pastor Tom Moulfair. Burial will follow the services at Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.

Memorial donations are requested to Minnich Funeral to help with expenses, OR to the Blair Foundation.

Arrangements are being cared for by the staff of Minnich Funeral.

John A. Carr, 72, of Buck Run, died Friday at Genesis Healthcare Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.

Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersvillle, is in charge of the arrangements.

Robin Lynn Robbins
, age 63, of Pottsville, PA passed away Friday, December 27th, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill. Pottsville.

Born in Pottsville, PA on August 25, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Paul James and Geraldine Ruth (Bigg) Salen.

Robin was a graduate of Pottsville High School, Class of 1979. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Church in Pottsville, a member of the Mechanicsville Fire Company Ladies Auxillary. Robin enjoyed shooting darts for the Peps Pub in Port Carbon and playing cards.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Paul James Salen II.

Robin is survived by two sons: Eric Salen and his wife Tiffany and Patrick Harach and his companion Kira, both of Palo Alto; nine grandchildren: Hayley, Jasmine, Eric Jr., Allen, Megan, Alexis, Adrianna, Charlee, and Connor; six great-grandchildren: Wyatt, Elliott, Gavin, Bentley, Brandi, and Antonio; a brother John "Butch" Salen and his wife Erica, St. Clair; a niece Ashley; and a nephew Cory.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon at 12noon on Saturday, January 4th, with Deacon John Setlock officiating.

Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday morning from 10-12PM at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be held private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help with Robin's funeral costs to the Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home 208 Pike Street Port Carbon, PA 17965.
