Carol E Ney, age 82, of Lykens Twp, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.She was born on Saturday, July 18, 1942, in Lykens Twp, a daughter of the late Allen Wolfe and the late Ada M (Klinger) Wolfe.
Carol retired from the Upper Dauphin Elementary School Cafeteria.
She was a member of Pine Creek United Methodist Church, Spring Glen.
Carol enjoyed music. She was a pianist in her church and performed with the Wolfe Family for many years. Carol also enjoyed gardening. She and her family spent many years taking care of the Ada Wolfe Flower Garden on Garden Spot Road. Carol also enjoyed cooking and baking for her family.
Her husband, Dennis C Ney, passed away in 1999. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Violet Snyder, and a brother, Bill Wolfe.
She is survived by a son, Andrew A Ney and his wife Kristie of Lykens Twp; a granddaughter, Kayleigh E Miller her husband Zach of Lykens Twp; a grandson, Mac A Ney and his wife Whitni of Halifax; a great granddaughter, Raelynn E Ney; a great grandson, Rhys C Ney; a brother, Robert Wolfe of Gratz; two sisters, Twila Geistwite of Lykens Twp, and Millie Leffler of Gratz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at Pine Creek United Methodist Church, Spring Glen, on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Benjamin Scholl officiating.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday at Pine Creek United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter's Cemetery, Fearnot.

Alvin Jackson Jr., 65, St. Clair, passed away Sunday December 8, 2024, at his home.
Born in Pottsville, February 3, 1959, He was a son of the late Alvin Sr. and Zella I.(Brown) Jackson
Alvin had worked at E.A. Quirin Machine Shop, St. Clair and Rest Haven Nursing Home, Schuylkill Haven before retiring from SER Power Plant, Shenandoah.
Alvin was also referred to as “Big Al”, a name he liked to be called. He loved listening to his music, going to concerts and playing the lottery (swore he would hit it big one day) and we can’t forget his visits to TNT deli for a mushroom cheesesteak.
Alvin recently retired and was enjoying the outdoors more, whether it was out scouting with his brother, or taking a walk downtown to play the lottery. He also looked forward to dog walking with his brother and Para (Roger’s Dog) whom he loved and spoiled with treats. Alvin will be missed by many
In addition to his parents was preceded in death by a brother Alfred “Buddy” Jacoby; sister Karen Leahy.
Surviving are brother Roger (Donna) Jackson of Pottsville, sister Christine (Vern) Shipe of Minersville; brother Barry Jacoby of Schuylkill Haven; Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Monday December 16, 2024 from bruce T. Hart Funeral Home 110 N. 2nd St. St. Clair, PA 17970 with Rev. Jack Murray officiating. Friends may call from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Ruth Steinert SPCA 18 Wertz Dr. Pine Grove, PA 17963.
