Mary Jane Poticher, 92, a resident of Pottsville, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 15th, 2024.

Mary Jane was born in Philadelphia, on November 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Harold and Florence Hazel (Morris) Poticher.

After high school, Mary Jane attended nursing school, which led her to a lifelong career in healthcare and nursing.

The last member of her immediate family, Mary Jane is survived by an extended family of cousins and friends.

Mary Jane will be laid to rest privately at the Charles Baber Cemetery in Pottsville, with funeral arrangements provided by the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 West Market Street, Pottsville.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick J. Coleman, son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, friend to many. A lifelong resident of Tuscarora, Patrick died on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at home. He was 49 years of age.

Born Saturday, February 22, 1975 in Williamsport the son of the late Joan Coleman-Forys who passed away on August 7, 2020. Surviving are; father, John Forys; sisters, Bridget Forys and her husband Josh Warne, their children Alexus and Evelyn Warne, and Melanna Forys; companion, Lisa Lansky. Many aunts, uncles and cousins also survive Patrick.

A 1993 graduate of Marian Catholic High School, Patrick was a member of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Lodge # 13 currently working at Three Mile Island. Patrick enjoyed rebuilding his many mustangs, and riding his Harley’s. Devoted to his family and friends, he was known for his loyalty and famous one-liners. Patrick worked hard and played harder. He took every opportunity to travel around the world, Ireland being his favorite trip.

Patrick was a member of the Tuscarora Fire Co.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in care of funeral home for an education fund for his nieces.

Judith Marie (Donahue) Guyeski
, age 85, of St. Clair, PA, passed away peacefully on December 15th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Branch Dale, PA on September 9th,1939, she was a daughter of the late Martin “Pete” and Doris (Bowers) Donahue.

Judith grew up in Branch Dale and attended St. Mary Star of the Sea Grade School. She was a 1957 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, Pottsville, PA. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Church, St. Clair, PA.

Judith had various jobs at different times in her life, working in the garment industry, at an insurance agency and in retail. By far, her most important and cherished job was that of a homemaker. Judith raised her four children in Minersville. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren just as much as her own children. She always made their time together fun by playing games that she created, having picnics, going to the playground and having sleepovers. She would always be making something to eat but, by far, the favorite by all, were her famous pancakes with a secret ingredient that made them the best pancakes that you would ever eat.

Judith also loved her Irish heritage and enjoyed having family over for St Patrick Day celebrations with shenanigans, wearing everything green and making homemade Irish recipes. She loved to attend the annual St Patrick’s Day parade in Pottsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Guyeski and her sister, Maureen Biss.

Judith is survived by her three sons, Thomas (Mary) Rinaldo III, Sinking Spring, Jeffrey Rinaldo, Minersville, Richard (Tracey) Rinaldo, Minersville and her daughter, Michele (Charles) Compton West Chester, PA; 10 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; two brothers, John Donahue and Martin (Joanne) Donahue; nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Friday December 20th from 7-9pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday December 21st at 10AM St. Clare of Assisi Church, St. Clair. Mon. William Glosser will officiate. Relatives and friends can call at the Church from 9AM until the time of the service. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, Hillside.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the St. Clare of Assisi Church, 250 Hancock St., St. Clair, 17970.

Arrangements are by the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, Minersville.

Salvadore 'Sammy' Curreli, 97, of Shenandoah, passed away peacefully on December 10th, 2024.

Sammy was born in Shenandoah on October 18, 1927, a son of the late John B. and Antoinette (DeLuca) Curreli. He was a lifelong resident of Shenandoah and was retired after a career as a heavy equipment operator in the local mining industry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Ann (Lebby) Curreli, brothers, Carmen Curreli and Mario C. Curreli, Sr., his daughter, Maria Curreli and a grandson, Robert "Bobby" Anuscavage.

The last member of his immediate family, Sammy is survived by his nephew and caregiver, Mario Curreli and his wife Kim of Ringtown.

Harvey D. Lenhart, 89, of Andreas, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, in the Orwigsburg Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Florence A. (Mullins) Lenhart, and his second wife, the late Evelyn J. (Rough) Lenhart. Prior to retiring, he was a maintenance worker for Howard Johnson, and previously he worked in building construction. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Warren F. and Mildred E. (Lentz) Lenhart. He was of Protestant faith. Harvey was a hard worker and put himself through college. He enjoyed looking at new cars. Over the years, he and his wife, Florence, took in and cared for numerous underprivileged children and made them part of their family. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Warren and Milton; four sisters, Dora Gildner, Eunice Romascavage, Hester Keiper, and Viola Lenhart; and daughter-in-law, Karen Lenhart.

Surviving are three sons, Harvey B. and his wife, Cheryl, Gary, both of Andreas, and Albert Wolbert, of Mifflinburg; daughter, Donna, wife of Terry Douthitt, of Shelbyville, KY; and sister, Mildred Henry, of Arizona; eight grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, at Overcomers Holiness Church, 347 Lizard Creek Rd., Andreas, PA 18211 with Rev. Russell Snyder officiating. No calling hours. Private interment in the Interdenominational Church Cemetery of Clearfield. Contributions may be made to Evangelistic Faith Missions, 1502 I St STE 100, Bedford, IN 47421. Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.

Thomas R. Weikel, 48, of Pottsville passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024 at UPMC Memorial Hospital in

York. He was born on October 14, 1976 in Pottsville. Thomas was the son of the late William Weikel and

Katherine (Hutchinson), who survives him of Arizona.

He was of the Catholic Faith. He attended Pottsville Area High School.

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Tamara Shepherd of Birdsboro, his brother, William Weikel, Jr. of Pottsville, his brother, Michael W. Weikel of Tamaqua, his granddaughter, Anna, his grandson, Caleb, his grandson, James and his grandson, Winchester.

A Private Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the James H. Evans Funeral Home, Inc.,

St. Clair. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
