Born in Pottsville on August 15, 1952, he is the son of Katie (Gilbert) Fehr and the late Charles G. Fehr of Friedensburg.
Married 51 years, Charles was the husband of Sharon A. (Schaffer) Fehr.
Charles attended the Blue Mountain Schools, but graduated in 1970 from Carson Long Military Institute.
Charles served as a Sgt. in the U.S. Air Force from 1972-1976.
He was a member of St. John's Reformed Church in Friedensburg and the Roedersville Game and Fish in Pine Grove.
Charles was employed as a machinist at Rockwell International for 22 years. He then retired in 2017 from Guers' Dairy where he was a truck driver for 18 years.
In addition to his mother and wife, Charles is survived by a son, Jason A. Fehr; a daughter, Jill Ann, wife of Matthew Lehman; a grandson, Andrew J. Fehr; and two brothers, David & Robert Fehr.
In addition to his father, Charles is preceded in death by siblings, André and John B. Fehr.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, December 26th at St. John's Reformed Church in Friedensburg with Rev. Matt Kenitzer officiating. A viewing will be held at the church from 9:30 AM until the time of the service.
Interment will follow at St. John's Reformed Church Cemetery.

Born on December 14, 1938, in New Castle Township, he was a son of the late Eugene J. and Loretta A. (Huth) Curran, Sr.
Gene graduated from Pottsville Area High School and then joined the US Navy where he proudly served his country from 1958 to 1964. He worked as a welder for the Dana Corporation, Reading for many years, retiring in January 1998. In retirement, he drove for Avenues for over 10 years. He was a member of the United Steelworkers of America AFL-CIO Local 3733.
He found joy in solving crossword puzzles, sudoku, and word searches. He loved watching Jeopardy and had a passion for learning. A dedicated fan, he proudly supported the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by a son, Mark Curran, brothers, Jack and Thomas Curran, sister, Anne Curran, grandson, Adam Joulwan.
Surviving is his loving wife of 60 years, Arlene “Susie” (Matta) Curran, three loving daughters, Colleen Joulwan (John), Shannon Schrader (Joseph), Erin Curran (Alison Walden), a loving son, Michael Curran (Cay), a granddaughter, Tori McKeown (Sean), great grandchildren, Adam McKeown, a brother, Gerald Curran (Peg), several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, December 28th at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market Street, Pottsville. Friends and family are invited to attend a visitation from 10:00 AM till the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to St. Jude’s (stjude.org) or Hillside SPCA (hillsidespca.com).

Mary Jane Poticher, 92, a resident of Pottsville, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 15th, 2024.
Mary Jane was born in Philadelphia, on November 17, 1932, a daughter of the late Harold and Florence Hazel (Morris) Poticher.
After high school, Mary Jane attended nursing school, which led her to a lifelong career in healthcare and nursing.
The last member of her immediate family, Mary Jane is survived by an extended family of cousins and friends.
Mary Jane will be laid to rest privately at the Charles Baber Cemetery in Pottsville, with funeral arrangements provided by the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 West Market Street, Pottsville.

Veronica L. Krammes, 66, of Pottsville, passed away on Thursday, December 12, at her home after a lengthy illness.
Born in South Ozone Park, NY, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Dolores Christine (Kosier) Mazurkiewicz. She graduated from Pine Grove Area High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn Krammes, who passed in 2010, a daughter, Jessica Snyder, brother, Peter Mazrkiewicz, Jr..
Surviving is her loving daughter, Jacqueline Robinson and her husband, Christopher, several grandchildren, Hayes Krammes, Veronica Lockard, Amear Robinson, Jacquae Robinson, Joseph Schaeffer, Zachary and Graycen Krammes, Jacob and Annie Snyder, great grandchildren, Maizie and Rhys Carter, two sisters, Francine Lytle and Christine Mazurkiewicz, several nieces and nephews.
Private Services will be at the convenience of the family.

Born on May 31, 1931 in Schuylkill Haven, she was a daughter of the late John and Dorothy Schappell Jacoby.
She was a graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.
Barbara was a seamstress and worked for Alpha Mills in Schuylkill Haven.
She was a member of the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, Pine Grove.
Preceding her in death was her husband, Theodore O. Wolfe.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan Wolfe; a son, Jeffrey Wolfe; three grandchildren; a brother Scott and wife Fiona Jacoby.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Pine Grove.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, c/o Lois Lehman 26 Pine Hill Rd., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in her memory.

George T. Smith, 77, of Mexico Rd., Pine Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at St. Lukes Hospital Bethlehem.
Born on December 28, 1946 in Myerstown, he was the son of the late Dora Mays Long and George A. Smith.
George was employed for 35 years by North American Refractories until he retired.
He had a great love for hunting and enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Tioga County.
Preceding him in death were two brothers, Dale Smith and Duke Long.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Carol McHenry Smith; two daughters, Crystal and husband Joseph Ewaskiewicz, Tammy and husband Bradley Krammes; two grandsons, Zachary Huber and Gaige Krammes; two granddaughters, Katelyn Huber and Courtney Hepler; one great grandson, Andrew Hepler; two sisters, Beverly Flemming and Della Thompson; nieces and nephews.
All Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Ronald L. Blackwell, 57, passed away Saturday December 14, 2024 at his home in Pottsville.
Born February 27, 1967 he was a son of the Beverly (Heffner) Blackwell and the late Robert Blackwell.
Ronald enjoyed sports especially watching the Steelers and Phillies.
In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his sister Donna Beury and brother Robert Blackwell.
Surviving are his mother, two sons Ronald J. Blackwell and Ryan Dietz, a daughter Veronica Blackwell, three sisters Debra Harner, Nancy Tankalavage and Janet Burda, three brothers Ricky , Stephen and Jeffery Blackwell.
Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family and are entrusted to the Nice-Hart Funeral Home, 9 North Lehigh Ave., Frackville, PA, 17931.

Donna L. Adams, 87, of Tower City (Orwin), passed away suddenly, early Thursday morning, December 19, 2024.
Born in Reinerton, Monday, September 27, 1937, a daughter of the late George and Emma Bendigo Hunter.
She was a retired seamstress from the local garment industry, working for over 37 years.
Donna was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Reinerton.
Despite her health issues, Donna always kept herself busy, whether it be crocheting, going to her exercise group with her friends, or going to grief share meetings. Above all else, her family was everything to her. She dedicated her life to her family and will remembered as the best mother and Nan. There was nothing she would not do for them, and she always let them know that "they were her world."
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Adams Sr; a son, Donald Adams Jr.; brothers, Edward and Marlin Hunter; sisters, Janice Griffiths, Janet Hunter, and Mae Thomas.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Dauberman (Jackie Forney), Hegins; three granddaughters, Carissa Witmer (Brad), Zion Grove, Alana Dauberman (Eddie), Orwin, and Celina Dauberman (Dave), Minersville; four great grandchildren, Aaron, Isayah, Jaylan, and Emma; three brothers, George, William, and Ray Hunter; numerous nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to graveside services on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 3:00 PM from the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin, with her pastor, Pastor Mary Owens officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 1931 Wiconisco St, Tower City, PA 17980.

William “P-Nut” Dean, 55, of Hazle Township, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
Born in Shenandoah, he was the son of the late William Dean of Patriotic Hill and Gloria (Foose) Hennessy of Shenandoah.
Besides his parents, he was preceded by paternal grandparents- Charles Foose of Girardville and Pearl (Harvey) Foose of Shenandoah. His Aunt Gale (Foose) Veach, his brother-in-law- Christopher Streeter Sr. of Shenandoah and his nephew, Christopher “Punky” Streeter Jr. of Shenandoah.
He leaves behind his sister, Sherry Dean Streeter of Shenandoah, his nieces- Samantha Streeter and Kaylee Lindenmuth, and a great nephew- Logan Streeter all of Shenandoah. Also surviving are his Aunt Sandi (Foose) Hart and Uncle James Hart of Pattersonville, along with cousins and friends.
Everyone knew him as P-Nut, Nut, or Nature Boy. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing, and was a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. However, his biggest love was music. He was an avid collector of music CD’s, albums, and cassettes. His favorite music stemmed from heavy metal, classic rock to country. You name it, he probably had it! If you gave him a song he could tell you the artist, year, and what CD or album it was on. Even though he was always the quiet one, he made a lasting impression on you. He never had a bad word for anyone, and he would do anything for anyone he met.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Clara B. Mason, 81, of Minersville, passed away Thursday, December 19th, at Providence Place. Clara was born in Pottsville, Pa. on September 7, 1943, a daughter of the late Clara (Borrell) and Salvatore Vidal. A member of the Holy Family Parish and the former St. Barbara Church.
In addition to parent’s, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph and Vincent Vidal and a niece, Ellen Winston.
Clara is survived by nieces, Patricia Rector and Bonita Merrill. A nephew, Vincent "Sonny" Vidal Jr., Nephew-in-law Wayne Winston, numerous great nieces and nephews as well as her good friend, Barbara Becraft.
Visitation will be held 9:00 to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, December 24th at Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville.
A Service of Christian Burial will follow with Reverend Jason F. Stokes officiating. Interment at Saint Barbara Cemetery.
