Born on June 26, 1997 in Pottsville, he was a son of Sarah Strouphauer Pillsbury and the late Boe D. Pillsbury.
Gavin loved fishing, camping, mountain biking, dirt bikes and motorcycles. He was a social member of the VFW and the American Legion..
Preceding him in death, in addition to his father, was a grandfather, Thomas H. Pillsbury.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his daughter, Isabella J. Stoudt; two brothers, Connor Pillsbury and Alexander Pillsbury; grandparents, Kitty and Robert Sowers, Sr., Mike and Lori Strouphauer, Cindy and Keith Harris; aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Noon at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor John Hassler officiating. There will be a viewing on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 10:30 A.M. until Noon at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., 139 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory to help with funeral expenses..

Thomas V. DiPol, 49, of Ringtown passed away unexpectedly on Friday, December 29th.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Hedwig R Pinkerton, 84 years of age formerly of Kunkletown, Pennsylvania passed away as a guest of Greenwood Nursing & Rehabilitation Ctr. in Tamaqua on Friday, December 27, 2024
Born Friday, March 22, 1940 in Germany she was the wife of the late Douglas Pinkerton. Hedwig was also predeceased by; children, Karen Metzinger, and Darren Pinkerton.
Surviving are; her grandchildren, Jd Metzinger, Cameron Metzinger, Lauren Spackman and her husband Jordan; great grandchildren, Reaghan, Lincoln, and Judah Spackman.
Baptist by faith, Hedwig enjoyed doing crafts.

Prior to retiring, he was a life-long truck driver. Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late William A. and Mamie A. (Moyer) Gangloff. He was of Protestant faith. Ronald loved trucks, trains, and John Deere tractors. He enjoyed watching the History Channel, all news channels, The Lion King, cartoons, and Benny Hill.
He was preceded in death by a son, Jason.
He is survived by a son, Paul Gangloff, and his wife, Jamie, of Virginia; daughter, Nancy, wife of Jeff Cappella, of Port Carbon; sister, Carol D. Heisler, of Williamsburg, VA; four grandchildren, Justice and Jordan Cappella and Alliyah and Paul Jr. Gangloff; great-granddaughter, Magnolia; and one niece and one nephew.
No services to be held.
Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
Mary Ellen Schwalm, 77, of Tremont Nursing Home, passed away December 27, 2024 at Lehigh Valley Hospital East in Pottsville.
She was born in Hegins Township, the daughter of the [late] Harry and Gladys (Wenrich) Mausser. She was a graduate of Tri-Valley High School, Class of 1965.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, taking care of her cats and other animals that visited her property. She also fed and loved the birds, especially humming birds.
She worked at Brubaker's for 13 years and retired from Mac Truck in Harrisburg.
Surviving are a son, Glenn Schwalm and wife, Lorie of Elizabethville, a daughter Tania Maurer, and husband Timothy of Lykens Township, 4 grandchildren, Travis Schwalm, Kelsey Henry and husband, Jesse of Elizabethville, Steven Maurer of Harrisburg and Lisa Maurer of Lykens Township, 3 great granddaughters, Raelynn, Alayna and Keira Henry.
She is also survived by a brother, Harry Mausser and wife Diane ofHegins; A niece Deborah Krammes of Hegins,and a nephew, Harry Mausser II of Florida.
At Mary's request, there will be no funeral service and no Celebration of Life Service.

Ellet J. Sapp Jr., 45, Girardville and formerly of Frackville, passed away peacefully Saturday at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of Ellet J. Sapp Sr. and Deborah Boose Sapp, Frackville.
Ellet was an avid Eagles fan, enjoyed playing sports with his sons, enjoyed camping at the beach and was known to be an absolute hellraiser.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Francis Sapp; maternal grandparents, Paul and Shirley Boose and his father-in-law Thomas Purcell.
In addition to his parents Ellet and Deborah, he is survived by two sons; Ean and Jayce Sapp; his longtime girlfriend and companion, Donna Purcell; his grandmother Alice Sapp;brother, Christopher Sapp; sister, Amber Williams and by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Monday evening, January 6, 2025 from 5 until 7 p.m. at the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, with a scripture service at 7 p.m. with Rev. Giuseppe Esposito, officiating. Interment will be private at Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
