A fire in Shenandoah early Monday morning that displaced 4 has been ruled accidental.
Around 6:15am, Monday, emergency personnel were called to 231 New York Street in the borough of Shenandoah for a house fire.
With fire showing from the 3rd floor of the home, a working fire was advised, and a 2nd alarm was transmitted.
Along with battling flames, firefighters faced temperatures near zero degrees.
According to Fire Chief Rick Examitas, Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Joseph Hall was at the scene Monday morning and investigated ruling the fire accidental and the cause being electrical in nature.
The American Red Cross was called and they are assisting 4 adults that lived at the home.
Two firefighters sustained minor injuries during the call.
