Emergency Personnel at Scene of Working House Fire in Shenandoah

Emergency personnel are at the scene of a working house fire in Shenandoah early Thursday.

The call came in just after 3:30am to the area of 423 West Poplar Street in the borough and as Chief 64 was responding, a working fire was advised.

Early information shows the fire started at 426 West Poplar and spread east.

A second alarm was also requested calling in additional manpower.

A multi-alarm tanker task force was also called for additional water.

Multiple homes are reported to be involved and at least one collapsed early on the call.
