Minersville PD and Big Diamond Speedway Owners Join Forces to Provide 200 Free Meals to Residents

Minersville — The Minersville Police Department, in collaboration with Jake and Jasmine Smulley, owners of the Big Diamond Speedway, are spreading kindness and generosity by offering 200 free meals to local residents on Sunday, February 2.

The event aims to show appreciation to the Minersville community, which has long supported both the police department and the Speedway. Police Chief Jeff Bowers expressed his gratitude, saying, "We feel that it is an important part of policing to give back to the community that has been very supportive of our efforts for so many years."

The free meals will include a choice of turkey or Italian subs paired with a bag of chips.  Meal distribution will begin at 1:00 PM at Tony’s Meat Market, located at 17 E. North Street, Minersville, PA. The meals will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
