On Monday, Shenandoah Borough's new secretary/treasurer was sworn in.
Mike Cadau, of Shenandoah, was officially sworn into the position by Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker after being appointed last Thursday by borough council.
Cadau replaces last year's secretary/treasurer Borough Manager Tony Sajone.
Cadau was nominated and confirmed with a 4-3 vote.
