No injuries were reported after a rollover crash on a snowy Route 61 south of Frackville on Monday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, the crash occurred around 10:00am on Route 61 southbound just passed the Mall Road Exit in Blythe Township.
A crash report from Troopers stated that Larry Helwig, 50, of Frackville was driving southbound on Route 61 when he attempted to slow and lost control. His Chevrolet Traverse spun and upon overcorrecting, traveled off the side of the roadway and struck a dirt embankment. The vehicle then overturned onto its right side.
Helwig and his passenger Tanya Helwig, 49, were not injured in the crash.
Responding to the scene were the Good Will Fire Company from Frackville, Englewood Fire Company, Altamont Fire Company, and Frackville Ambulance.
