Dale G. Felker, 76, of Pottsville, passed away Tuesday, January 14th, at Schuylkill Center.

Born in Pottsville on March 14, 1948, he was the son of the late Evelyn M. (Steidle) and George A. Felker.

After graduation from Pottsville Area High School in 1966, Dale attended Penn State University where he received his Associate's Degree in Civil Engineering.

Dale was employed as an architectural designer for Gilbert's Associates and RPA.

He served in the U.S. Air Force and later served in the U.S. Army Reserves.

Dale is survived by a daughter, Kimberly A., wife of Dennis P. Marr, Jr., of Pine Grove;
a son, Christopher J. Felker, husband of Debbie, of Downingtown, PA; granddaughters, Hannah and Ryleigh Marr, Jenna Felker; and several nieces and nephews.

Dale is also survived by two sisters, Janis Blum, of Pottsville and Nancy Sheipe, of Schuylkill Haven.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, January 17th at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc in Schuylkill Haven with Rev. Mark Brooks officiating. A viewing will be held from 9:30 until the time of the service.
Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Thelma L Adams
, 85, of Pine Grove, passed away on Sunday, January 12, at her home.

Born on May 23, 1939 in Pine Grove Twp., she was a daughter of the late Grant and Edna Breidigan Knerr.

Thelma worked as a sewing floor supervisor for Canoe Mfg., Pine Grove and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, John Hesser on August 12, 1967, a Daughter, Debra Keefer, a Son, Johnny Hesser and a Sister, Jean Eisenhauer.

Surviving are her husband of 53 years, Gary A. Adams, a Daughter, Jeanette Frantz of Pine Grove,3 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, a Sister, Carol Luch and a Brother, Charles Knerr both of Jonestown.

Memorial Services will be held at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc, Pine Grove, on Friday, January 24, at 7:00 P.M. with Pastor Brian Beissel officiating. There will be a calling time from 6:00 PM until time of service on Friday, Jan. 24, at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will be in the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove, at a later time.

The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, Contributions may be made to the St. Peter's Lutheran Church Memorial Fund, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963, in her memory.

Pauline Anna (Koch) Heisler
, 93, lifelong resident of Walker Township, died on Sunday, January 12, 2025, surrounded by her family in the comfort of her home. She was the loving wife of Jay O. Heisler to whom she had been married for 71 years at the time of his death in 2023. 

Born in Walker Township on April 27, 1931, Pauline was the daughter of the late Paul A. and Anna V. (Geist) Koch. A 1949 graduate of Tamaqua High School, Pauline and Jay started the Heisler Egg Farm in 1952 and that business continues to operate today under their sons' management. 

Pauline was a lifetime member of Calvary Evangelical Church, Lewistown Valley where she was always volunteering and to which she was very devoted. She was an excellent cook and homemaker, a wonderful mom, and was the family’s north star. 

Pauline is survived by two sons, Todd Heisler and his wife Shelly and Kent Heisler and his wife Susanne all of the Lewistown Valley; daughter Dawn Delaney and her husband Richard of Kansas City, Missouri; granddaughter Lindsay Schegan and her husband Zack of Lewistown Valley; grandson, Jordan Heisler and his wife Talli of Lewistown Valley; step grandson Phillip Kline and his wife Kelani of Coal Township and their daughter Gwendlyn; great grandchildren Caleb Schegan, Luke Schegan, Ella Heisler, and Everly Heisler, all of Lewistown Valley; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Fern Schaeffer, Ruth Koch, Janice Dietrich; and three brothers, Robert Koch, Lamar Koch, and Paul Koch, Jr. 

Services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at Calvary Church, Lewistown Valley, 824 Catawissa Road, Tamaqua with The Rev. Kim Leskowich officiating. Interment in Calvary Cemetery will follow. Family and friends may call from 11 AM – 1 PM in the church.

Nancy E. Knoblauch
, 84, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital Schuylkill. She was the wife of James F. Knoblauch, with whom she shared 36 years of marriage before his passing in 1993.

Born in Schuylkill Haven, she was the only daughter of the late Emanuel and Thelma (Aungst) Bolton. Nancy worked as a topper and mender for over forty years, first at Burkey and then at Craftex Mills.

Nancy was a member of St. John's Church in Port Clinton where she was active in the choir for many years. She was also a member of the Port Clinton Fire Company, Port Clinton Fish and Game, Red Hats, and Shoey Senior Citizens. Her favorite pasttime was bingo.

Nancy is survived by two grandchildren and a great granddaughter; and brother Gerald Bolton, husband of Jean. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Knoblauch, and brothers, Charles Bolton and James Bolton.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2025 at 12:00 pm in Kuhn Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 40 South 4th Street Hamburg, PA 19526. Calling hours are from 11:00 am until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park in Schuylkill Haven.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John's Church in Port Clinton.

Robert I. Sargent IV, 56, of Elm St. , Tamaqua, former Ashland and Girardville resident, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, with family by his side, at the St. Luke’s Miners Hospital, Coaldale. Born in Ashland, September 15, 1968, he was the son of the late Robert and Theresa Barrett Sargent III. He was a graduate of the I.U.29, Marlin and the North Schuylkill High School, class of 1986. During his lifetime, he was employed as a laborer for different construction companies and a bartender for area taverns.

Son: Mathew Sargent, Tamaqua

Sister: Tina wife of Schaun Sherwood, Nova Scotia, Canada

Brother: J.J. Sargent, Pennsylvania
