Schuylkill County residents, prepare your appetites! The Schuylkill Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the 2025 Schuylkill Winterfest Pierogy Eating Contest, presented by Mrs. T's Pierogies.
The contest will take place at 1:00 PM on January 18 during the Chamber's Schuylkill Winterfest being held at Alvernia University's Pottsville CollegeTowne.
How It Works
The rules are simple but the challenge is mighty:
- Each participant will receive 25 pierogies and will be assigned a personal judge.
- The competition begins with a countdown, and the first contestant to finish their 25 pierogies is crowned the winner.
- Judges will ensure all pierogies are fully consumed and will record the completion time.
The winner will take home a special trophy and an extra helping of Mrs. T's Pierogies to enjoy.
