Pennsylvania State Senator Dave Argall and Representative Dane Watro visited the Shenandoah Valley School District on Monday to honor the achievements of the school’s varsity boys and girls cross country teams.
Both teams captured the 2024 District XI Championships, marking a milestone as its the first championship for the teams in this sport.
During the ceremony, Senator Argall and Representative Watro presented official proclamations recognizing the teams' hard work, determination, and success.
Representative Tim Twardzik, a proud alumnus of Shenandoah Valley, also participated in the event, offering his congratulations and sharing fond memories of his time at the school.
