A St. Clair woman is locked up in Schuylkill County Prison after two incidents last week within hours of each other led to charges.
According to St. Clair Police, on December 26th, 2024, around 6:00pm, officers were dispatched to 5 South Second Street for a report that a victim was assaulted by her daughter.
Police arrived and found the victim with blood on her head, hands, and clothing. The victim told police that her daughter, Dominique Lee Petrozino, 34, had thrown a cigarette roller at her hitting her in the forehead. She also said Petrozino threatened to cut her throat.
Petrozino was still at the home when police arrived and told officers that she "slapped her mother to knock some sense into her".
Petrozino was taken into custody and arraigned by the on-call Magisterial District Judge Anthony Kilker on charges of simple assault, terroristic threat, harassment, and criminal mischief. She was then released on $25,000 unsecured bail.
Around 5:00am on December 27th, 2024, officers called back to the same address again when Petrozino had returned to her mother's home.
The victim told police that Petrozino broke into her apartment and attempted to bite her neck. During the incident Petrozino had broken down the front door and threw the victim's phone in a toilet.
Petrozino was taken into custody on charges of burglary, criminal trespass, resisting arrest, public drunkenness, and disorderly conduct and arraigned before Judge Kilker. Petrozino remains locked up in Schuylkill County Prison unable to post the $50,000 straight cash bail set by Judge Kilker.
