Crews are working on repairing a water main break in Butler Township on a line that also feeds Ashland.
The break is in a 12" line along Route 61 near the entrance to North Schuylkill. The break forced the school district to work virtually and also cancelled all sporting event scheduled for Wednesday evening.
As of noon, crews were still working on the repair.
No boil advisories have been issued as of this posting. If one is issued, we will provide the update.
