The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for Schuylkill County.

WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY MORNING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING... 

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations between 4 and 6 inches possible.

* WHERE...This alert covers the following Pennsylvania Counties

• Adams
• Cumberland
• Dauphin
• Franklin
• Lancaster
• Lebanon
• Perry
• Schuylkill
• York

* WHEN...From Sunday morning through Sunday evening.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous, as temperatures fall through the 20s late in the day. Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A small variation in storm track could result in significant changes in expected snowfall amounts.
