Mahanoy City Elks Lodge 695 Honors Americanism and Drug Awareness Contest Winners


Mahanoy City, PA – February 18, 2025 – The Mahanoy City Elks Lodge 695 recognized outstanding student participants in the Americanism and Drug Awareness Contests during a special ceremony.

Students who submitted essays and posters were honored for their hard work and dedication to the themes of patriotism and drug prevention. Winners at the lodge level will move on to compete at the district level, with the potential to advance to state and national competitions.

The students were commended for their exceptional efforts and received certificates and small tokens of appreciation from the Elks Lodge. As a special recognition, first-place winners in the Americanism contest will be invited back to present their essays during the Lodge’s Mandatory Flag Day Program on June 14th.

Americanism Contest Winners:
