Louis J. Marshall, 81 of Gordon, PA, passed away on February 19, 2025 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Schuylkill East. He was the husband of Virginia D. (Kostinko) Marshall.Born in Frackville, he was the son of the late Joseph P. and the late Madeline (Jordan) Marshall. Louis had worked for many years for PP&L as a Lineman until he retired. He was a life member of the Frackville Elks BPOE150 and a member of the Son's of the American Legion, Frackville. He enjoyed working in the yard and around his home.
Surviving in addition to his wife is one daughter, Virginia L. Marshall, Gordon, PA; one grandson, Louis Bracey husband of Rebecca Costa and one great grandson, Nico M. Bracey.

Francis V. Caulfield, resident of Girdardville, formerly of Shenandoah, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his home.
Francis was born in Lost Creek on April 20, 1938, to the late Michael and Anna (Carey) Caulfield.
Francis was an Army veteran and worked in construction, running heavy equipment for most of his adult life.
Francis was of catholic faith and a member of Divine Mercy Church, Shenandoah.
Preceding him in death in addition to his parents were his sister Mary (Caulfield) Link and two brothers Joseph Caulfield and William Caulfield.
Surviving is Donna Lally and his daughter, Maria (Mia) Caulfield of East Norriton, nieces, nephews, many cousins, and friends.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated by Monsignor Ronald C. Bocian, Pastor, at the Divine Mercy Church, 232 West Cherry Street, Shenandoah, PA at 10 AM on Thursday, February 27, 2025. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at the church from 8:30 AM until 10 AM prior to the Mass.
Francis will be laid to rest in Annunciation Cemetery, Shenandoah Heights, immediately following the mass.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Residential Hospice Foundation (https://residentialhospicefoundation.org/donate/) in Francis’s memory.
The Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jardin Street, Shenandoah, is assisting Francis' family during their time of need

Shirley V. Carras, 97, passed away Tuesday, February 18th, at Geisinger St. Luke's Hospital, Orwigsburg.
Shirley was born in Shamokin, Pa. on June 14, 1927, a daughter of the late Irene (Waldron) and Frank Visnefski. She was the widow of Louis Carras.
In addition to her parents, and her husband, Louis, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bernard Visnefski, sisters, Maryann Freed, Jean West, Lorraine Fanelli, and Rita Visnefksi.
Shirley is survived by a son, James, husband of Ann Carras. Nieces and nephews including Sharon L. Koury.
All Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Interment at St. John's Cemetery, Pottsville. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
