Born Tuesday, October 5, 1943 in Volcan, Schuylkill County the son of the late Samuel, and Mary Ellen (Anslow) Brinich-Quick. David was also predeceased by brothers, Samuel and William, Charles Brinich; sister Nancy Walton. .
Surviving are; his wife of 64 years, Marie (Oakes) Quick; son, David Quick and his wife Marie; daughter, Angela Marie Fulton wife of David; grandchildren, Brandon, Danielle, and Nicholas Fulton, Kayla Schmoltze, Erin Quick, Bryan Quick, Eric Young; great grandchildren, Ava Teter, Jase Bensinger, Mason Whitley.
David served honorably in the United States Army and retired from Beemis of Hazleton, formerly St. Regis.

A Funeral Service will be at 11 o'clock A.M. on Friday February 28, 2025 from the funeral home. Military honors to be bestowed.

Mark Steven Koch, 58, of, Llewellyn, passed away Tuesday, February 25th, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.
Mark Steven Koch, 58, of, Llewellyn, passed away Tuesday, February 25th, at Hershey Medical Center, Hershey, Pa.
Mark was born in Pottsville, Pa. on April 14,1966, a son of the late Eleanor (Lavenberg) and George Koch. He was the husband of Valerie J (Bosack) Koch. He was employed at Mi Windows & Doors Inc.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a Brother George Koch, Sister, Lori Harig, and a nephew, Matthew Roberts.
Mark is survived by his wife Valerie, a sister, Tina, wife of Brian Roberts. He is also survived by Nephews, Tyler, Chad, Brody, and Cole. Nieces Zoe, Myah, & Matilyn, and his fur baby, Lila.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 1,from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Good Intent Hose Co No 1, Llewellyn. Mahal-Ritzel Funeral Home Inc., Minersville entrusted with the arrangements.
Maureen R. Walsh, 77, of Pottsville passed away at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital.
Born in Pottsville, November 26, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Beatrice Miller Walsh.
Maureen was a 1965 graduate of Pottsville High School, and a 1969 Graduate of Kutztown State College. Maureen was a lifelong educator and taught mathematics for thirty-four years at Pottsville Area Middle School. She was a dedicated teacher and even in her most recent years, she continued to keep in touch with a number of her former students.
In addition to her parents Maureen is preceded in death by her brother Donald M. Walsh. Maureen is survived by her brother Dr. Robert Walsh, husband to Debra of Easton; and nephews Dr. Brandon Walsh, husband to Melissa of Allentown; Ryan Walsh, husband to Dawn, of Port Carbon; and Michael Walsh of Phoenixville. Family was extremely important to her. Reen was a truly generous spirit. She helped support those close to her in times of celebration and in times of need.
Throughout her lifetime, she was also extremely dedicated to continuous contributions to a number of organizations that were meaningful to her. Reen spent her lifetime trying to better the lives of her students and those fortunate enough to be touched by her generosity. She will truly be missed.
Services are private at the convenience of the family. Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven, is entrusted with services. Interment will be on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.grabowskifuneralhomes.com
