Terry L. Pugh, Sr., 71, of Schuylkill Haven, passed away Tuesday, February 25th, at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Schuylkill Haven.

Born in Pottsville, August 14, 1953, he was a son of the late John & Nancy (Gillinger) Pugh.

He was the widower of Anne Marie (Cook) Pugh.

Terry attended Pottsville High School and graduated from Berks Technical Institute.

He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville.

Terry was a manager at the former Gramma's Restaurant, Schuylkill Haven

He is survived by two children: Jean Ann Angelo, & Terry L. Pugh, Jr. & wife, Natasha, all of Schuylkill Haven, four grandchildren: Benjamin, Nicholas, & Matthew Angelo, and Penelope Pugh, brother, Rowland Pugh & wife, Terry, South Carolina, brothers & sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces, & nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Terry is also preceded in death by son-in-law, Christopher Angelo, brother, John Pugh, infant brother, Ted, grandparents including Helen Gillinger, aunts & uncles.

A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, March 4th at Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville. A Viewing will be held at the church at 9:30 AM until the time of service.
Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

The family prefers remembrances in the form of contributions to defray the cost of funeral expenses to Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc. 25 E. Main St. Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Ann Marie 'Conch' James, 78, a resident of Greenwood Hill in Pottsville
, passed away Tuesday February 25th, 2025 at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center - East Nowegian Street in Pottsville.

Ann Marie was born in Frackville on October 13th, 1946, a daughter of the late William and Anna (Pechuilis) Conrad. She attended and graduated from the former Frackville High School.

She worked for 16 years at the Hillside SPCA, and then was one of the first employees at the Cressona location of Giant Foods, working until November of 2024.

Ann Marie enjoyed going to local casinos, as well as visiting Atlantic City. Her father taught her how to fish and crab when she was younger, and she shared that passion with her children while they grew up, and spent many days and nights fishing and camping at Locust Lake State Park.

In addition to her parents, Ann Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Richard James in August of 1993, and by her brother, William Conrad, Jr.

She is survived by a her children, a son, William James and his significant other, Tanya of Tower City, and by a daughter, Michelle McGovern of Tamaqua. A granddaughter Emily, and two granddaughters Felicia and Liliana also survive, as does her sister in law, Edith Conrad of Sinking Springs along with nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 West Market Street in Pottsville on Saturday, March 8th. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Ann Marie's family and share stories from 10 AM until 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial doanations in Ann Maire's memory are asked to be made to the HillSide SPCA.

Sandra Havron, 78, of Tamaqua
, beloved mother and grandmother, died on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, in Franklin Township. She was the widow of Dennis Havron to whom she was married for 36 years at the time of his death in 2004. 

Born in Coaldale, Sandy was a daughter of the late William and Henrietta (Campbell) Oster. A 1964 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, she worked at the Atlas Powder Company and, later, at the Tuscarora Sportswear Factory. Sandy is best known, however, for her many years driving school buses for the Tamaqua Area School District and Kistler Transportation from which she retired 9 years ago. She was a member of the former Calvary Episcopal Church in Tamaqua and an extraordinarily dedicated member of the Tamaqua Area Band Boosters for almost 50 years. 

Most of all, Sandy was an enormously proud nana of her four grandchildren and enjoyed attending their games and activities. She is survived by one son, Dennis Havron of Tamaqua with whom she resided; two daughters, Kelly Lehman and her husband Timothy of Coaldale, and Sandra Breiner of Tamaqua; two granddaughters, Elizabeth Lehman of Coaldale and Alexis Breiner and her companion Ernie Shilko of Tamaqua; and two grandsons, Zachary Breiner of Tamaqua and Timothy Lehman and his fiancĂ© Maddi Donatelli of Bethlehem. 

She was preceded in death by a brother, William Oster. 

Services will be held at 10 AM on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home, 500 East Broad Street, Tamaqua with The Rev. Dillon Epler officiating. 

Interment in Sky-View Memorial Park will follow. Call on Friday from 6-8 PM and on Saturday from 9-10 AM at the funeral home. Memorials in Sandy’s name may be made to the Tamaqua Area Band Boosters, 138 West Broad Street, Tamaqua, PA 18252. 

Arrangements are being handled by the Zizelmann-Gulla Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Tamaqua.

Robert J. Lipko, 77, of Llewellyn
, passed Saturday at the Geisinger Medical Center, Danville, surrounded by his family..

Born in Pottsville, he was the son of the late Sam and Helen Peron Lipko.

He was a graduate of Minersville High School and was an engineer. He was the Plant Manager for the Exxon and Tredegar Companies in MarLin.

He was a member of the former St. Stanislaus and St. Matthew’s Parishes of Minersville and was a member of Holy Family Parish, Minersville. He was an avid supporter of the Salvation Army, the Hillside SPCA and the Good Intent Fire Co, Llewellyn.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Parry), Llwellyn; a daughter Christine Pomian, Phonixville, Pa. and a son David Lipko, Llewellyn; 4 grandchildren;

And a sister Kay Wilson, Minersville..

A Funeral Service will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM at the Donald J. Butler Funeral Home, 328 Sunbury St., Minersville. Fr. Leo J. Maletz will officiate. Relatives and friends can call at the Funeral Home on Saturday from 8 AM until the time of the service.

In lieu of flowers the family would prefer remembrance in the form of contributions to either the Salvation Army, 400 Sanderson St., Pottsville, Pa. 17901; the Hillside SPCA, 51 SPCA Rd., Pottsville, Pa. 17901 or to the EMS Services of the Good Intent Fire Co., 12 Silverton Rd., P.O. Box 163,
