Carol Christine Stock, 81, of Summit Station, passed away Thursday, February 6th, at Tremont Health and Rehabilitation Center.Born in Pottsville on September 24, 1943, she was a daughter of the late Joseph F. & Thelma C. (Thomas) Pepper.
Married 48 years, she was the wife of Joseph W. Stock.
Carol was a graduate of Pottsville Area High School.
She was a member of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, Cressona.
Carol was the owner of Nuway Portable Toilets and managed Nuway Cesspool & Septic Cleaning with her husband for nearly 50 years.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, going to yard sales, shopping, dancing, & listening to music, but above all else, she truly loved to travel, especially cruising.
In addition to her husband, Carol is also survived by two daughters: Yvonne Thompson, fiancé of Michael Yob, of Schuylkill Haven, & Denise, wife of William Long, of Schuylkill Haven, and her son, Kevin Thompson, of Pottsville. She is also survived by three granddaughters: Samantha Thompson, Paige Long, & Emily Thompson, and three great-grandchildren: Damien Brantlecht, Leland Thompson, & Lily Leymeister.
In addition to her parents, Carol is also preceded in death by two siblings: Joseph Pepper, & Dolores Hoffman, and her grandson, William "BJ" Long.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be conducted on Wednesday, February 12th at 3 PM at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A Visitation will be held from 2 PM until the time of service.
Interment will be private.

Dennis “Denny” Marham, 74, of Frackville passed away suddenly on Friday, February 7th at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Born in Pottsville, he was a son of the late Michael and Mary (Mihalsky) Marham.
Denny was a member of St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Frackville where he also served as the parish cemetery caretaker for over 50 years. He also worked in the auto body repair industry.
Denny was the chief of the Frackville Ambulance Association , a lifetime member of the Friendship Fire Co., Englewood and was an avid pool shooter, belonging to many local leagues.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Justine Marham and an infant brother, Michael.
Denny is survived by his wife of 49 years, Marian (Houser) Marham, Frackville; his brother-in-law, Scott Houser; his sisters-in-law: Sandy Walter, Linda Damiter and Sharon Kovalusky; his beloved dog, Misty; also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 14th from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville with Rev. Petro Zvarych officiating. Friends are invited to his viewing at the funeral home on Friday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be held in St. Michael’s Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery, Englewood.

Thomas John Dudash, age 66, of Port Carbon, PA passed away at his home on Thursday, February 6th, 2025.
Born in Pottsville, PA on January 3, 1959, he was the son of the late Thomas and Barbara A. (Ziegler) Dudash.
Tom worked as a mechanic and garage foreman for Northeast Prestressed Products in Cressona, where he was a member of and the financial secretary for the Local Steel Workers Union 480A. Tom was a Scout Master for Boy Scout Pack/Troop 604 in Port Carbon for 15 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister Carol Shollenberger.
Tom is survived by son Joshua Dudash and his wife Krista; daughter Samantha Dudash; son Travis Dudash and his partner Holly; grandchildren; sister Karen Dudash; brother-in-law Elmer Shollenberger; beloved dog Bailey; and nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home, Port Carbon at 6PM on Tuesday, February 18th, with Rev. Lorraine Heckman officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday evening from 5-6PM at the Funeral Home.
Interment will be private.

Born in Philadelphia, PA., he was the son of the late Edwin and Gloria (Ross) Sanders. Bill had been a self employed contractor his whole life working for himself for most of his life, but later the last 17 and half years he had worked for Universal Forest Products of Gordon until he retired in 2023.
He is predeceased by a son, William N. Sanders, Jr.; one grandson, Robert Conrad, Jr; sister, Madelyn; brother, Edwin.
Surviving in addition to his wife Lois are his children, Constance J. Sanders, Shenandoah, PA, Bryce Sanders, Orangeville, PA, Kimberly A. Hernandez, Shenandoah, PA; sisters, Estelle, Carol and Maria. He has 4 grandchildren, Mia, Mariah, Desiree and Dontae; one great granddaughter Maya.

Born on December 17, 1956 in Ashland she was the daughter of the late Marie (Wolkoski) and John Purcell.
Marie graduated from Mount Carmel Area High School in 1974.
She was of the Protestant faith.
Marie was the wife of the late Richard A. Persing who passed in 2022.
Marie last worked as a Registered Nurse for Geisinger Medical Center-Danville prior to that she worked for North Central Secure Treatment Unit.
Marie enjoyed crocheting, baking and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother John Purcell and step infant son Richard Franklin Persing.
Marie is survived by; son Brian Persing (Kassidy) of Bloomsburg; step children Frank & Tara; grandchildren Riker, Adalee, Jillian, & Rachael.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday February 13, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Rothermel-Heizenroth-Clark Funeral Services Inc, 387 W. Valley Ave, Elysburg Pa 17824.
