Jayme L. Manley
, 34, of Robin Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at home surrounded by family and friends.

Born on August 20, 1990 in Levittown, he was a son of Teresa Seehousen Manley and the late John T. Manley Sr.

He was a 2008 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.

Jayme worked for Sargent Enterprises in Jim Thorpe.

He loved dirt bike and motorcycle riding, UFC, traveling and the Philadelphia Eagles.

Preceding him in death were two brothers, Joshua Manley and John T. Manley, Jr.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are a brother, Jason Manley of Pine Grove; a nephew, Jaxon Manley and niece, Faith Manley; aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 6:30 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a viewing on Thursday, February 13, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to the Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, 18 Wertz Dr., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.

Judith (Judy) Birunas, 88, of Lancaster, PA passed away on Sunday February 9th at Trillium Place (Formerly Mennonite Home) Lancaster, PA.

Born in Pottsville, PA on January 10, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur and Helen (Oswald) Wolfgang.

Judith was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Albert Birunas who passed away in 2012.

She is survived by a daughter, Virginia A., wife of Melvin Schnupp, Clarendon Station, Ontario, Canada, two sons, Larry A., husband of Kerri Birunas, Lancaster and Craig A., husband of Linda Birunas, Lancaster. 6 Grandchildren, Brant, Kimberly, Erin, Corey, Lindsay and David. 13 Great-Grandchildren and 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, a sister, Mary Louise Zimmerman of Perkiomenville, PA and sister-in-law Frances (Jut) Knapczyk of Columbia.

Judy retired from the former KMart on Fruitville Pike, Lancaster after many years as an assistant manager. She enjoyed traveling and participating in the senior games with her husband. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and was a member of the St. Matthew's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lancaster.

Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven, is entrusted with services.

Bettemae G. Schaeffer
, 91, of Pottsville passed away, Saturday, February 8th, 2025, just short of her 92nd birthday in Pottsville, PA.

Born in Mechanicsville, February 24, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Evelyn (Neiffert) Garland.

She was a 1951 graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

Bettemae enjoyed spending time with her family (traveling frequently to do so), doing word puzzles, and watching her favorite soap operas. In her younger years and after raising her family, she was employed by The Pottsville Hospital as a home health care aide.

Bettemae was the widow of Robert Leroy Clauser Sr. who passed away in 1969. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her three sisters, Roberta, Jacqueline, and Beverly and a stillborn baby.

Bettemae is survived by children: Deborah Ann Clauser of Pottsville, Robert L. Clauser Jr., husband to Cheri of Lincoln Park, John G. Clauser, husband to Pamela of Emmaus, Cristal A. Wassel wife to Corey of Tamaqua, and Edward P. Schaeffer of Pottsville, PA.

Bettemae is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Lindsay, Amanda (Nicholas), Alyssa (Jack), Kathleen (Ian) and Cheyann (Tyler) and 5 Great-Grandchildren, Heath, Theodore, Aspyn, Rowanand Oliver.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Pottsville Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in particular the Memory Care Ward, for the wonderful care she received during the last 8 years.

Services will take place at Schuylkill Memorial Park at the convenience of the family. Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven, is entrusted with services.
