A woman from Schuylkill County has been identified as the victim of a fatal crash in Berks County on Tuesday.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Reading, the crash occurred around 3:30pm on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, on Route 222/Kutztown Road in Maxatawny Township.
Troopers say Grace Rosado, 43, of Schuylkill Haven and Louis Luck, 65, of Washington DC were stopped in separate vehicle in traffic in the southbound lanes when a third vehicle, driven by Angel Barzaga Salazar, 57, of Lancaster, approached from behind.
Barzaga Salazar failed to stop and struck Rosado's vehicle pushing her vehicle into the back of Luck's vehicle.
Rosado was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash by the Berks County Coroner's Office.
Luck sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital for treatment. Barzaga Salazar was not injured.
There is no word on whether charges will be filed for the crash.
