A man faces harassment charges after following a woman over 50 miles to Schuylkill County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police at Frackville, on Thursday, January 30th, 2025, around 9:00pm, Troopers responded to Vulcan Hill Road, in Mahanoy Township, near Mahanoy City for what was initially reported to be a motor vehicle accident.
During the course of the investigation, Troopers discovered that Gary Della Monica, 30, of Scranton, followed a 28-year-old female from Scranton, 56 miles and also made numerous phone calls and sent inappropriate text messages to the victim.
Della Monica was cited for harassment for the incident.
