Senator Dave McCormick (R-Pennsylvania) has announced the hiring of additional members to his in-state senior leadership team, reinforcing his commitment to serving the residents of Pennsylvania.
“I’m excited about the great team we’re building in Pennsylvania,” said McCormick. “I was elected to serve every Pennsylvanian, and the quality of staff we’ve hired shows my commitment to the Commonwealth. I know this team will do outstanding work to help all Pennsylvanians navigate the federal government and put our constituents first.”
As part of his efforts to ensure accessibility for residents across the state, McCormick has also opened seven regional offices. These offices are designed to provide constituent services and assistance with federal issues.
Pennsylvania Senior Leadership Team
Ryan P. Aument – State Director
Ryan Aument, an eighth-generation South Central Pennsylvanian, served Lancaster County in the Pennsylvania General Assembly from 2010 to 2024. A graduate of The Citadel and a decorated veteran, Aument served as a Captain in the U.S. Army during Operation Iraqi Freedom. With a career dedicated to public service, he brings extensive experience to his new role.
Anna Romeo – Deputy State Director for Constituent Services, Outreach, and Coalitions
A Montgomery County native, Romeo has nearly 12 years of experience in the U.S. House of Representatives, most recently serving as Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to Congressman Dave Joyce of Ohio. She previously worked for Congressman Bill Shuster and on three Congressional campaigns.
Stephanie Applegate – Press Secretary, PA
A Dauphin County native, Applegate graduated from Dickinson College and has worked in public service for eight years. She previously served as Communications Director for the PA Senate Majority Whip and played a key role in crisis communications during the 2020 election audit.
