On Saturday, March 1, 2025, the Mahanoy City Elks Lodge 695 honored their 2024-2025 Elk and Citizen of the Year at a sold-out event.
This year, the lodge recognized Cheryl Stanitis as the Elk of the Year and Dawn Frye at Citizen of the Year.
