Authorities in Schuylkill County are seeking the public's assistance in locating a wanted individual last known to live in Minersville.
District Attorney Michael O’Pake and the Schuylkill County Detectives are urging the community to help in locating Joseph Michael Yurkonis.
Yurkonis, a 31-year-old White, Non-Hispanic male, stands 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 190 lbs. He is currently wanted on three active bench warrants.
Detectives report that Yurkonis failed to appear at the Courthouse for Arraignment Court on August 27, 2024, on charges that include DUI: Controlled Substance – Impaired Ability – Misdemeanor 1, Possession of Marijuana – Misdemeanor, and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor.
In addition, he has been declared an Absconder for violating probation conditions related to a Defiant Trespass – Actual Communication to Person – Misdemeanor 3 charge.
Yurkonis also missed another court appearance on August 27, 2024, for a separate set of charges, including DUI: Controlled Substance – Impaired Ability – Misdemeanor 1, Possession of Marijuana – Misdemeanor, and Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Misdemeanor.
His last known address is 614 Lewis Street, Minersville, PA 17954.
