Police Seek Fugitive Following Pursuit Involving Tractor Trailer in Schuylkill County

The Pennsylvania State Police (PSP) at Jonestown are searching for a fugitive who evaded arrest after a high-speed pursuit involving a tractor-trailer.

On Friday, March 7, 2025, PSP Jonestown officers observed Lee Dubois operating a tractor-trailer near Franzosa Trucking on Route 209 in Frailey Township, Schuylkill County. Dubois was known to have an active felony warrant issued by the PSP Schuylkill Haven barrack for Aggravated Assault by Motor Vehicle.

When troopers attempted to initiate a traffic stop, Dubois refused to yield and fled the scene in the tractor-trailer, leading authorities on a pursuit along Route 209 onto East Franklin Road.

The chase continued until Dubois attempted to drive the vehicle off the roadway onto a dirt path. The tractor-trailer became disabled, at which point Dubois abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot into a wooded area.

Despite efforts to apprehend him, Dubois successfully evaded capture. PSP Jonestown has since issued additional felony charges against Dubois, including Flight to Avoid Apprehension, Fleeing and Eluding, and Resisting Arrest.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Dubois’ whereabouts to contact PSP Jonestown at (717-865-2194) or PSP Schuylkill Haven at (570-754-4600).
