Kyle Eric Cleary, 40, of Pine Grove, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 6th.

Born in Cape May Courthouse, NJ on March 30, 1984, he was a son of Phillip M. & Terri K. (Bolton) Cleary, of Pine Grove.

Married 5 years, he was the loving husband of Kelsey Claire (Eckart) Cleary. He was the proud father of Ella Anne, Benjamin William, & James Phillip Cleary.

He was a 2002 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School. A talented wrestler, he was State runner-up. Kyle earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, Lancaster, where he was named an All American wrestler.

He was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Kyle worked as an installer for Bob's Pools, Friedensburg.

He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan and enjoyed coaching youth soccer and wrestling.

In addition to his parents, wife, and children, Kyle is also survived by two brothers: Matthew Cleary, husband of Tiffany, Pine Grove, & Patrick Cleary, husband of Hallie, Pottsville, two nieces: Kaydence Neiman, & Marleigh Cleary, maternal grandparents: Jean & Gerald Bolton, Schuylkill Haven, aunts, uncles, & cousins, father & mother-in-law, William E. Eckart, Jr. & Cynthia K. Eckart, Bernville, sister-in-law, Corrine Eckart, brothers-in-law: William Eckart, III, Joseph Eckart, & Peter Eckart.

Kyle is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents: William & Agnes Cleary, and maternal grandfather, Charles Bolton.

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Friday, March 14th at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Schuylkill Haven, with Rev. Ted Rathman officiating. A Visitation will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service at church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., and mailed to 25 E. Main St., Schuylkill Haven PA 17972, to benefit Kyle’s children.

Heaven gained another angel when Dennis E. Brown, 85 of Dewalt Rd., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at home surrounded by his family.

Born on December 9, 1939 in Pine Grove, he was a son of the late Warren C. and Margaret Adams Brown.

Dennis was a 1957 graduate of Pine Grove High School.

He was a Diesel Mechanic and worked on the check line at Yellow Freight for 20 years until his retirement. He also retired from the Teamsters 771.

Dennis loved hunting, fishing, many trips to the shore, taking his grandsons and great grandsons fishing, and was a jack-of-all trades.

He was a lifetime member of the Moose in Hamburg, a member of the Roedersville Game and Fish, social member of the Pine Grove VFW.

Preceding him in death were two daughters, Debora and Donna Brown; and a brother Bruce Brown.

Surviving are his loving wife of 67 years, Patricia Ann Riegel Brown; a daughter, Darlene Holden, widow of Harry Holden, of Goodland, Fl; a son, Douglas Sr. and wife Deb Brown of Hamburg; four grandchildren, Jeremy Oswald, Jason Brown, Douglas Brown Jr. and Christian Brown; five great grandchildren, Cody, Joshua and Brianna Oswald, Marshall and Josie Brown; a sister, Susan and husband Dave Moyer; a brother-in-law, Jay II and wife Sue Riegel; a sister-in-law Sandra Riegel Dittman of Bernville; many nieces and nephews.

There will be a visitation on Saturday, March 15, 2025 from 10:00 A.M until 11:30 A.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove.

Brittany L. Schneck
, 35, of Pleasant Hill Dr., Pine Grove, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.

Born on December 1, 1989 in Lebanon, she was the daughter of Shawn Schneck of Tremont and Stephanie Jones of Hazleton and was raised by her grandparents, Anna and Glenn Schneck.

Brittany was a 2008 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School where she was a cheerleader and played softball. She obtained her Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from McCann School of Business and a B.S. Degree in Health and Human Services and Management from the University of Phoenix. She was currently working on a Master's Degree in Social Services.

Brittany was a caregiver at St. Michael's School, Group Home for Girls in Pine Grove.

She had participated in Bonnie Cupp and gymnastics and loved her pets.

Preceding her in death were her grandparents, Glenn Schneck, and Kenneth "Skip" and Claire Hubler Rumpf.

Surviving, in addition to her parents, are a brother, Thomas Schneck of Pine Grove; two sisters, Chasity Schneck of Tremont, Brandy Schneck and wife Crystal Ham of Columbia, S.C.; grandmother, Anna Rehrer Schneck of Pine Grove; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 11:00 A.M., at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove with SALM John Ziegler officiating. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Jacob's Lutheran Church, Pine Grove.

Joseph R. Gudisauskas
, 80 years of age of Walker Township Tamaqua, Pennsylvania passed away on Friday, March 7, 2025, in his home.

Born Sunday, January 21, 1945 in Tamaqua, Pennsylvania. the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Rodkiss) Gudisauskas. Joe was also predeceased by; his beloved wife, Frances "Cookie" (Pelo) Gudisauskas; sisters, Damice Rickert, Anna Falasco.

Surviving are; daughter, Kelly J. Sfarra wife of Anthony; sister, Mary Lou Miller; grandchildren, Kayla Moser and her husband Zach, Camerin Miller and his companion Alyssa Campomizzi, Meghan Sfarra; great granddaughter Layla Hysell.

A 1962 graduate of Tamaqua Area High School, Joe served honorably in the United States Army, and Army National Guard. Joe retired from Kraft Foods of Allentown after 35 years of service. A longtime member of St. John XXIII R.C.C. of Tamaqua, Joe was an active member of the Holy Name Society. A train buff, Joe greatly missed his beloved dog and constant companion Breeley.

Francis J. Androshick
, 93, formerly of Tremont, passed away peacefully Friday night, March 7, 2025.

Born in Saint Clair on Thursday, May 7, 1931, a son of the late Francis and Helen Kolody Androshick.

He was retired from the textile industry.

He was a proud United States Navy veteran, serving during the Korean War.

Francis was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church, Tremont, the Newtown Gun Club, and the Little Run Gun Club. He also was a lifetime member of the Tremont and Pine Grove American Legions.

He enjoyed shooting pool and playing darts, belonging to numerous leagues including with Pete's Bar, Little Run Gun Club, and the Tremont Legion. Francis also enjoyed playing cards, especially euchre and hossie. He looked forward to his trips to the casino and enjoyed playing his scratch off tickets. He was also a baseball fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Elizabeth "Betty" Confair Androshick, 2024.

Surviving are his three children, Francis "Joe" Androshick (Jane), Donaldson, Janeen Stump (Ray) Pine Grove, and Cecelia "Marie" Wiscount(Sonny) Hegins; five granddaughters, Ashley Emerich (Jake), Jenna Hentz (Garrett), Shana Herb (Josh), Brianna Deibert (Cody), and Jennifer Krammes (Brandon Fidler); seven great grandsons, two great granddaughters, and one great grandchild on the way; sister-in-laws, Jeanne and Ruth.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City with Pastor Ron Stump officiating. A viewing will be held from 2-3 at the chapel. Francis will be laid to rest beside his wife in the Mount Peace Cemetery, Minersville.
