William “Bill” Devaney, 79, of Girardville passed away at his home on Friday, March 14th with his wife by his side.
Born in Girardville, he was a son of the late William and Mary (Kowalick) Devaney. Bill was a plant mechanic and supervisor of the former Ashland State Hospital and SCI Mahanoy until his retirement.
Bill was a veteran of the United States Army. He was a member of the Girardville American Legion and the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Jack Kehoe Division #1, Girardville.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Edward Devaney; his sister, Ann Marie McDonald; and his brother, James Devaney.
Bill is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Ann (Gallagher) Devaney, Girardville; his two sons: William Devaney and Daniel Devaney of Girardville; his daughter, Molly Fera and her husband Stephen of Myrtle Beach, SC; his grandchildren: Edward Devaney, Kendall Bowman, Kyle Devaney, Megan Marsh, Mikayla Devaney, Grace Devaney, Caleb Devaney and Nolan Devaney; his great-grandchild, Kennedy Bowman; Bill is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.

Thomas Molochnick, 89, of Jonestown, Passed away Thursday March 13, 2025 at his home.
Born in Pottsville June 25, 1935 he was a son of the late Peter and Anna (Starzetski) Molochnick.
He worked as in construction and at the water company before retiring as a driver from STS. He was a member of the South Cass Fire Co.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 4 brothers Andrew, George, Michael and Francis Molochnick; 3 sisters Madge D’amore; Kay Frantz and Baya Marko.
He is survived by his companion of 35 years Elaine N. Oblas of Barnesville. A brother Leo Molochnick of Willimantic CT. Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
Friends may call at Dutcavich Funeral Home, Minersville, on Monday from 6:00-8:00 PM and on Tues from 9:15 AM -10:15. Requiem Divine Liturgy will be held in St. Nicholas Ukrainian Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Rev. Joseph F. Volosky, 70, a resident of Walker Township, Tamaqua, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 12, 2025.
Joe was born in Shenandoah, the son of the late Frank and Isabel (Yodis) Volosky. After high school, he attended college and then pursed a career as a carpenter working in the construction industry throughout his entire life and was proud of the fact that he even built the home he lived in.
He was a member of St. John XXIII Catholic Church of Tamaqua, and a former member of St. Jerome’s Church. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan, and enjoyed hunting in his younger years.
Joe is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patrice Ann (Skaudis) Volosky, their children Rebecca Kesslick of Glenside, PA and Joseph Jr. (Louis Tenario) of Willow Grove, PA, and granddaughter Brianna Kesslick.
His siblings, Margaret Gwiazdowski (Joe) of York; Mary Yurkiewicz (Jeff) of Ringtown and Frances Price (Todd) of York also survive along with nieces and nephews.
Joe will be laid to rest on the grounds of Skyview Memorial Park in Hometown on Friday, March 21st, 2025 at 11:30 AM. Anyone wishing to attend the services are asked to meet at the cemetery prior to the service.
The Walukiewicz-Oravitz Fell Funeral Home, 132 South Jarding Stree, Shenandoah, is assisting Joseph's family during their time of need.
Claire J. Kline, 84, of Pottsville passed away on Friday after a brief stay at Schuylkill Center Nursing Home.
Born in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Ruth Reppert Kline.
Claire was a 1958 graduate of Pottsville Area High School.
She worked at the ACME for over 25 years in the deli department.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Ruth D. Bainbridge.
She is survived by her lifelong friend Helene McLaughlin wife of Robert of Marlin, their daughter Cathy Carpenito wife of Steven. Claire will also be deeply missed by their children, Thomas and Emily Carpenito,
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 22, at 10:00 A.M. at Grabowski Funeral Home, Schuylkill Haven. Family and friends are welcome from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. In lieu of flowers, and in honor of Claire’s love of animals, the family asks that donations in Claire’s name be made to the Hillside SPCA, PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.
David C. Gallo, 82, of Orwigsburg, passed away Thursday, March 13th, at Rosewood Nursing Home, Schuylkill Haven.
David was born in Pittsburgh, PA on November 16, 1942, a son of the late Alice (Kovac) and Walter David Gallo. Married for over 60 years, he was the dearly loved husband of Kathleen (Vance) Gallo; they were married June 5, 1964.
He was a very active member of Grace Bible Church of Hawk Mountain. David graduated from Penn Hills High School in Penn Hills, PA in 1960 and later received his Bachelors degree from Carnegie Mellon University in 1964. He also played college football. He was educated as an Industrial Engineer and retired as Vice President at Cressona Aluminum.
He loved the outdoors, whether it be working outside or hunting. He enjoyed Pittsburgh sports, traveling and, above all, enjoyed spending time with his family. He had an incredible sense of humor which remained with him during his stay in nursing care. He was a gifted natural musician who could play a musical instrument with no lessons needed.
David is survived by two daughters, Deborah Gallo Sweitzer, wife of Gregory, Rebecca Benjamin, wife of Blair, two sons Michael Gallo and his fiance Tania Correale and Daniel Gallo, husband of Emily. Grandchildren - Kenzie, Mikayla, Austin, Natalee, Kate, Zoe, Collin, Janelle, Hannah, Aaron, Aimee, Karissa, Noah, Chloe, Sylvie, Josephine. Great grandchildren - Aamyah, Alaaya, Sammy and JJ. He was looking forward to meeting two more great grandchildren this year. He is also survived by a sister, Barb Rohrbauck, wife of Bob.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held Tuesday, March 18, at Grace Bible Church of Hawk Mountain, 12 Molino Road, Orwigsburg, at 11 AM with Pastor Ben Bailey officiating. Visitation with the family will be 10 AM until the time of service. Interment will be private. Hamilton-Breiner Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. has been entrusted with arrangements.

Robert L. Kinsinger, 75, of Tower City, passed away Friday morning, March 14, 2025 at Carolyn's Hospice House, Harrisburg.
Born in Fisherville, July 28, 1949, a son of the late Albert and G. Annabell Hoffman Kinsinger. He was a 1967 graduate of Halifax High School.
Bob retired from Bethlehem Steel, following 51 years of service.
He was a member of St. Peter's United Church of Christ, Orwin.
Bob will be remembered for being a devoted husband to his wife Jean, there is nothing he would not do for her. He was the happiest when he was surrounded by family. They were his pride and joy. Bob enjoyed going to the casino and watching horse races. He could often be found playing cards and shooting pool and darts.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by a grandson, Ryan Hechler and a brother Richard Kinsinger.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 52 years, Jean Schoffstall Kinsinger; three children, Lori Fennell (Mike), Sherri Walker (Eddie), and Janelle Kinsinger (Clint); three grandchildren A.J. Hechler, Leah Evans, and Angel Salada; eight great grandchildren, Mason, Brady, Jayden, Jasmine, Noah, Emma, Dahlia, and Archer; two brothers, Carl Kinsinger and Gary Kinsinger; two sisters, Judy Shomper and Dianna Reed (Dave); brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bill and Ginny Schoffstall; Jean Warfield and Lois Kinsinger. Nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of the Dimon Funeral Home, Tower City. Visitation will be from 10-11 at the chapel with Pastor Maureen Duffy-Guy officiating. Bob will be laid to rest in the St. Peter's Cemetery, Orwin.

Marie A. Clark age 85, of Valley View, passed away Thursday, March 13, 2025. She was born on Tuesday, January 23, 1940, in Hegins, a daughter of the late Albert and Maude Bixler. She was a Seamstress at many local garment factories. Marie was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View and the ILGWU. She loved spending time with her family, camping, sewing, quilting, doing puzzles and country music.
Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Clark, daughter, Lori Clark, son, Scott Clark, one sister and five brothers. She is survived by s son, Steve and wife Heather Clark of Harrisburg; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren
Services will be held at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Valley View, on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 11:00 am, with Rev. Suzanne Elliott officiating. A viewing will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday at St. Andrew's United Methodist Church. Burial will be made in St. Andrew's Cemetery.
