Clifford Reed passed away on Tuesday, March 18th 2025 at the age of 92.

He was born on March 13th, 1933 as the fourth child of six to Leroy and Edith Reed of Orwigsburg, PA.

After his graduation in 1951 from Orwigsburg High School, Cliff served in the US Army from March 1953 to March 1955. After his time in the Army, Cliff attended Penn State University and graduated in 1959 with a Bachelors’ Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Cliff then worked at Bethlehem Steel in Bethlehem, PA from 1959 until his retirement in 1985. From that time, Cliff enjoyed Hunting, snowmobiling and fishing from the camp he built along with family and friends in Tioga County in 1988.

Cliff was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Marjorie “Beckie” Reed (nee Freeman); his brothers Oliver and Francis Reed and sisters Orva Krause and Faye Baronowski. He is survived by his brother, Jay; his sister in law Elaine Ackerman (Freeman) and several nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held at 10:00am on Tuesday, March 25th at Grabowski Funeral Home, 75 Memorial Drive, Schuylkill Haven, PA. Funeral services will follow the viewing at 11:00am and interment will be on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Cemetery in Schuylkill Haven, PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the US Veterans Administration or the Veterans’ charity of choice. Memories and condolences can be shared at www.grabowskifuneralhomes.com

John C. Jobrey, Sr., 77, of Palo Alto, passed away Wednesday, March 19th, at home.

Born in Palo Alto on May 23, 1947, he was the son of the late Frida (Freeman) and Michael Jobrey.

Married 54 years, John was the husband of Carol (Horn) Jobrey.

John graduated from Pottsville Area High School in 1965.

He was employed as a meat clerk at Boyer’s Food Market

John was a member of Grace Free Church, Cressona.

An avid outdoorsman, John especially loved fishing in his free time.

In addition to his wife, John is survived by two sons, Jack Jobrey of Palo Alto; Ethan Jobrey of Whitehall; and a daughter, Heather Jobrey of Palo Alto. John is also survived by grandchildren: Aurora, Athena, Gabriel, & Emily; and siblings: Maryan, Michael, Carolan, Bob, and Richard.

In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by a sister, Doris Breyan.

A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, March 26th at Grace Free Church in Orwigsburg with Rev. Josh Ott officiating. Interment will be held privately at the family’s convenience.

Ann Stefanick
, 78, Frackville, passed away peacefully early Tuesday, March 18th at The Gardens of Orangeville, Orangeville, PA.

Born in Ashland, she was a daughter of the late Russell and Bertha Geisler Womer. She had been a cosmetologist all of her life and was the owner of 304 Center Hair Design, Pottsville, until her retirement.

She was a member of Saint Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Ashland.

Ann was a volunteer with Look Good Feel Better and Schuylkill County Meals on Wheels. She held several offices in the Hairdressers Association both on the county and state level.

She is survived by her husband, Gerald “Jerry” Stefanick; her daughter, Lisa Lute, Holly Hill FL and by cousins.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 4th at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Ashland at 11 a.m. by Father Adam Sedar. Friends may call at the church on Friday, April 4th from 10 a.m. until time of mass. Interment will be held on Monday April 7th at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.

Deborah C. Post, age 65, of Pottsville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, March 19th, 2025, at Edenbrook of Greenwood Hill in Pottsville.

Born in Camden, NJ on September 4, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Horace Muller and Irene (Vars) Reynolds.

Deborah is survived by her husband of 32 years, Joseph C. Post; a son Horace Linn and his wife Melissa; daughter Crystal Linn; five grandchildren: Kamrine Linn, Nicole Linn, Vanessa Linn, Jayden Vernarsky, and Anthony Sukeena; and a great grandson Oskar Linn.

Services and interment will be private.

The Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home in Port Carbon is in charge of arrangements.
