Wendy Lynn Hahn, 66, of Frackville
, passed away on Monday, March 3, with her husband by her side after a long period of declining health.

Born in Ashland, March 4, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Lou Frasch.

She was a graduate of North Schuylkill High School and had a tireless work ethic. She fondly reminisced about her years as supervisor at Model Garment, and as a manager at Waldenbooks at the former Schuylkill Mall. She made a work life balance appear effortless, always making time for her children and family. Wendy had a passion for animals and never met a stranger. She loved to visit with friends, family, and acquaintances, who will remember her for her sense of humor, her generosity, and listening ear. She will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Gail Balsavage, and brother Robert Frasch. She is survived by her husband, Joseph C. Hahn Jr. of Frackville; daughter Rebecca L. Hahn of Orlando, FL; son Joseph C. Hahn III of Elysburg; sister Donna Blase of Ashland, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to her visitation at Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Frackville, on Sunday, March 9th from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment will be held at Sky-View Memorial Park , Tamaqua, at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made, in Wendy’s memory, to the Hillside SPCA, Inc., PO Box 233, Pottsville, PA 17901.

Joseph W. Zaprazny, 86 years of age, of New Ringgold
, Pennsylvania passed away at home Tuesday, March 4, 2025,

Joe was born Saturday, June 18, 1938 in Emmaus, he was the son of the late John and Maria (Jiran) Zaprazny. Joseph was one of 8 children.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Elizabeth (Yakub) Zaprazny to whom he fondly referred to as "Betty." His two daughters Michelle Zaprazny Vesay and Elizabeth M Kline, their two spouses David G Vesay and Kevin Kline, four grandchildren David, Rio, Ella and Sarah and one great grandson Theodore.

Joseph was the founder of J.W. Zaprazny Inc. a metal recycling facility which he founded in the late 1950's. He worked continuously with his wife and later with his daughter, son-in-law and two grandsons to help grow the business. He leaves behind him a bereaved family and an indelible mark on the metal recycling industry.

Alma R. Gearhart, 91, of Ringtown, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2025.

Alma was born in Zion Grove on January 6, 1934, a daughter of the late Edwin and Cora (Singley) Rarick.

A lifelong homemaker, Alma was an excellent cook and baker who also enjoyed gardening.

She was the last member of her immediate family, the youngest of twelve siblings, all who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jere Gearhart in 2017.

Alma is survived by her children, a daughter, Susan Vincenzi and a son, Glenn, and his wife Theresa, all of Ringtown. Four grandchildren, Sara, Matthew, Bryan and Lindsay survive as does two great grandchildren, Cora and Eli, along with nieces and nephews.

Alma will be laid next to rest alongside her husband Jere at the Old White Church Cemetery in Ringtown, following private services which are being provided by the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Alma are asked to be made to the Old White Church, Old White Church, c/o Nancy Terry, Post Office Box 44, Ringtown, PA 17967.
