The Shenandoah Valley School Board will recognize two outstanding students at its March meeting for their dedication to academics, extracurricular activities, and community service.
January’s Student of the Month, Katrina McNulty, has been an active member of the Shenandoah Valley Jr./Sr. High School community. A multi-sport athlete, she participates in softball, cheerleading, and volleyball, along with being a member of the Art Club. Her commitment to giving back includes painting a mural at Villa Daycare, volunteering at concession stands, and contributing to last year’s senior mural. With a lifelong passion for sports, Katrina plans to pursue a career as a pediatric nurse.
February’s Student of the Month, Leslie Paniagua, is a dedicated leader involved in numerous activities, including band, cheerleading, soccer, cross country, DECA, and several honor societies. She also serves as a Student Ambassador for STC and has volunteered at the STC Santa Workshop and blood drives. With a positive outlook on life, Leslie strives to be the best version of herself. She plans to attend Shippensburg University to major in Marketing.
