
The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a series of burglaries at Pereira 7 Gas on West Centre Street in Mahanoy Township, near Mahanoy City.
UPDATE: This story was updated after State Police released more information on the investigation.
According to police, the incidents occurred on March 24, 2025, at 3:16 a.m. and 5:14 a.m., and again on March 30, 2025. In each case, three male suspects broke into the gas station by smashing the front window with thrown objects.
Once inside, the suspects stole cash and electronic cigarettes (vapes) before fleeing south toward West Market Street on foot.
Suspect Descriptions:

Suspect 1: Male, wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, and a black mask.

Suspect 2: Male, wearing a black sweatshirt, black pants, white and black sneakers, and a Halloween mask.

Suspect 3: Male, wearing an orange sweatshirt with a white and black stripe down the sleeve, gray sweatpants, and a mask with sunglasses.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Frackville Barracks at (570) 874-5300. Police say individuals providing information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a cash reward.
