Frackville Man Charged with Strangulation After Domestic Dispute

A Frackville man is facing multiple charges following a domestic dispute last Friday night.

According to Frackville Police, officers were called to a residence on West Oak Street, just after 9:00 p.m. on April 11, 2025, for a reported domestic dispute involving a boyfriend and girlfriend. Upon investigation, officers determined that 33-year-old Onesimo Pasqual Heredia Perez was involved in a physical altercation with his girlfriend during an argument.

The victim told police that Heredia Perez choked her during the incident, leaving her unable to breathe. A witness at the scene corroborated the victim’s account.

Heredia Perez was taken into custody and charged with strangulation, simple assault, and harassment. Patrolman Bryce Dragna filed the criminal complaint.

He was arraigned by on-call Magisterial District Judge David Plachko, who set bail at $25,000. Unable to post bail initially, Heredia Perez was committed to Schuylkill County Prison.

On Monday, April 14, 2025, Heredia Perez posted bail through a professional bondsman and was released from custody.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 30, 2025, before Magisterial District Judge Edward Tarantelli.
