The Shenandoah Recreation Committee celebrated a decade of springtime tradition on Saturday with its 10th Annual Easter Egg Hunt, drawing a crowd to the Bicentennial and Babe Ruth Parks.
Hundreds of eager children, baskets in hand, turned out for the festive event. With thousands of brightly colored eggs scattered across the grounds, the parks were buzzing with energy and anticipation.
Participants were grouped by age into six categories, ensuring everyone had a fair shot at the egg-stra special fun. As the hunt began, laughter and cheers echoed through the park as kids dashed across the grass in search of candy-filled treasures.
A few lucky hunters found special eggs hidden among the bunch, earning them extra prizes.
After the egg hunt, the fun continued with arts and crafts, face painting, and other kid-friendly activities that kept the celebration going.
