The North Schuylkill Baseball program paid tribute to one of its own on Saturday, honoring the memory of Brandon Harris prior to the varsity game against Whitehall.
Brandon, a 2018 graduate of North Schuylkill, was an integral part of the Spartan baseball family. He served as a manager and volunteer coach for several seasons, remembered for his dedication, positive spirit, and love for the game.
In a ceremony at Robert Wetzel Field, Head Coach Nick Brayford unveiled a special tribute: a metal cutout of a jersey bearing Harris’s name and number, #22. The cutout will be permanently displayed on the fence at the field, serving as a lasting reminder of Brandon’s contributions and the impact he had on the program.
To further honor him, all Spartan players and coaches — from both the junior varsity and varsity teams — wore special jerseys for the game. Each jersey featured "Harris" and the number 22 on the back, a unified and powerful symbol of remembrance.
Brandon’s family was present for the ceremony, including his mother Julie Harris, sister Nicolette Harris, and sister-in-law Jodie Harris.
