The Schuylkill County Coroner's office has been called to a multi-vehicle accident on Route 61 near Cressona.
Around 3:15pm, Saturday, emergency personnel were dispatched to the area of 1540 Route 61 in the area of the Cressona Mall for a report of a multi-vehicle accident.
Early reports stated at least 5 vehicles were involved
No other details were available on the crash but the Schuylkill County Coroner's office was called to the scene.
As of 3:40pm, southbound Route 61 wasbeing shutdown south of Pottsville until further notice. More information when its available.
