Betty J. Kemmerling, 88, of Pine Grove, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving children, on Thursday, April 17, 2025.
Born on December 12, 1936 in Clarks Valley, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth (Hossler) Lebo. A devoted homemaker, Betty dedicated her life to her family.
She was a graduate of Porter Township High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert L. Kemmerling in 2001; her sister, Dorothy Bender; and her brothers, Donald, Paul, and Richard Lebo.
Betty is survived by her children, Brian Kemmerling and his companion Tracy Strouphauer; Keith Kemmerling; Sharon, wife of David Hummel; and Trudi, wife of Albert Stankinas. She was a proud grandmother to Joshua Hummel, Ryan Kemmerling and his wife Lauren, Sarah Danneker and her husband Derek, and Marissa Kemmerling and her companion Salman Zeb. Her joy was further multiplied with the arrival of her great granddaughter, Marlowe Danneker, her Little Pumpkin. She is also survived by her three brothers, Harry, Fred, and Dale Lebo; and her sister Carol, along with many nieces and nephews.
No services will be held per Betty's wishes.

Lisa Ann Ressler, 59, Girardville passed away peacefully in the early morning on Thursday, April 17th at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Lisa was a 1983 graduate of North Schuylkill High School. She was employed as a machine operator for Mrs. T’s Pierogies, Shenandoah before becoming ill. She was a social member of the Rangers Hose Company and the American Legion, both of Girardville.
She was often the life of the party, busy planning the holidays and always happy to lend to someone in a time of need. She was affectionately known as “Zsa Zsa” to her grandchildren with whom she loved more than anything and now has the best seat to watch all of their adventures, growth, and successes.
As many of you know, these past few years have been difficult with the trials and tribulations she has faced with strokes, open heart surgeries, and other health issues. Through all of this, she has tried her best to live and enjoy life as best she could.
Lisa was preceded in death by her sister Debra Subick Butler.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Heath L. Ressler, Girardville; her mother, Margaret Irvin Subick, Frackville; her father, Joseph Subick, Port Charlotte, FL; her two daughters: Courtney Clay and her husband William, Minersville; Larissa Dickerman and her husband Matthew, Riverside; her grandchildren: Lyla, Jace, Grace, Jack and Liam; her two sisters: Ann Subick, Fountain Springs; Tracey Picht and her husband Bill, New Ringgold; her brother, Joseph Subick, Girardville; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24th at 11 a.m. from the Thomas M. Sullivan Funeral Home, Girardville with Fr. Giuseppe Esposito officiating. Friends are invited to her visitation on Thursday morning from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery, Fountain Springs.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers monetary donations be made to the family to offset medical and funeral bills.

Rick was born in Pottsville on Thursday, January 21, 1960, a son of Donald Bender, Sr., Joliett, and the late Shirley Lavenburg Bender.
Rick spent his entire life working in the coal industry, where he was greatly respected for his work ethic. He was a provider, a steady hand, and someone who believed in the value of hard work. Rick was a self employed miner and was the owner of Wheels Coal Company.
Family meant everything to him. They were his entire life. Rick was extremely proud of his grandchildren.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Bender.
In addition to his father, Rick is survived by his childhood sweetheart, his wife of 45 years, Lori Bixler Bender; his two children, Tanisha Bender and Ricky Bender (Katlyn); his two grandchildren, Breah and Collen Bender; three brothers, Donald Bender Jr. (Jean), Brian Bender (Liz), and Raymond Bender (Becky); two sisters, Cheryl Bixler (Dennis) and Joyce Bender (Bob); numerous nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Following Rick's wishes he will be laid to rest privately in the St. Peter's Lutheran Cemetery, Pine Grove.
Donations in Ricks name can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Theresa’s Life, Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 2 PM, in the Lavelle Church of the Nazarene, 2879 Fairgrounds Road, Lavelle, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Jeremy Smallwood, Pastor. Visitation in the church will begin at 1 PM until service.
