Bob was born in Pottsville on February 9, 1938, a son of the late Henry and Catherine (Sipple) Mehling. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Air Force, serving his country for over 20 years until his retirement as a air traffic control supervisor, earning the rank of Technical Sergeant. His enlistment had him traveling all over the country, and lastly to Saudi Arabia. Upon his retirement, he worked as an after hours security agent for Schuylkill Products in Schuylkill Haven.
He and his wife of 28 years, Betty (Wenrich) Sippel enjoyed traveling and camping, and spent the winter months in Florida.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, John Mendoza and a sister Rose Marie Campion.
Bob is survived by his wife, Betty and children, Patricia Campbell; BobbyJo Bumm; BillieJo Sipple; Pamela Kline; Tammy Boussum and Terri Chattin. A sister Margaret Mehling and a brother Henry (Butch) Mehling also survive, as do many grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service at 12 Noon on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025 at the Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 West Market Street, Pottsville. A viewing will be held from 11 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
Bob will be laid to rest following the service at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, with Military Honors being accorded at 2 PM prior to his burial.

Born in Pottsville, PA on August 28, 1929, he was the son of the late Russell Emerson and Theresa E. (Devlin) Holshue.
Russ was a graduate of St. Stephen Catholic High School, Class of 1947. He served in the U.S. Army as a Pvt during the Korean Conflict from 1951 till 1953 in Europe. Russ worked as a machinist at Reading Railroad then it became Conrail for over 30 years. He was a member of the former St. Stephen Roman Catholic Church in Port Carbon, the Mechanicsville Game and Fish Association, the St. Clair Old Timers, the East End Fire Company in Palo Alto, and the former Catholic War Veterans in Pottsville. Russ loved the outdoors, going hunting and fishing, going on walks and hikes, and camping. He also loved parties and Polka dancing. Palermo's Restaurant was his favorite place to eat.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 41 years, Alice Ruth (Wood) Holshue in September of 1995, a son Frederick "Fritz" Holshue, a daughter Theresa "Terry" Holshue, and a brother Richard Holshue.
Russ is survived by his children: Russell V. Holshue and his wife Corrine, Alice Ughes and her husband Walter, Janice Moore and her husband Patrick, Michael Holshue and his wife Bridget, Paul Holshue, Victoria Blankenhorn, and Tara Wallick and her husband Nevin; eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Stephen's Chapel in Port Carbon at 10:30AM on Tuesday, April 8th, with Rev. Edward Connolly officiating.
Relatives and Friends are invited to a viewing on Monday evening from 6-8PM and Tuesday morning from 9-10AM at the Robert A. Evans Jr. Funeral Home.
Interment with Military Honors will be held St. Stephen Cemetery in Port Carbon.

Antoinette Craigle, 66, of Rush Township, died on Saturday, March 29, 2025, in Philadelphia. She was the widow of the late Lon R. Craigle who passed away in August of 2024.
Born in Pottsville, Antoinette was the daughter of the late John Paul and Antoinette (Yuda) Balogach. She graduated from Tamaqua Area High School in 1977 and was of the Catholic faith. Antoinette had a love of nature and enjoyed fishing with her husband.
She is survived by two sons, Eric Craigle and his wife Sharon of Tamaqua, and Robert and his wife Rosewill of Nesquehoning; three sisters, Veronica Wagner and Diane and Karen Balogach; four brothers, Dennis, Gary, Glen, and Eugene Balogach; grandchildren Exzavier, Payton, Rexton, and Zaccariah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Antoinette was predeceased by her brothers, Paul, Jr., Michael, David, Robert, and Richard Balogach.

Jaime Dillman Sanza, 48, a resident of Walnutport, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg in Bethlehem.
Jaime was born in Pottsville on November 23, 1976, a daughter of Denise (Dillman) Schlauch.
She spent the last 10 years with the Love of her life, Rick Hoffeld of Walnutport, and raising her step children, Jessie, Robert and Justine while also enjoying her grand babies. Rick went beyond the call of caring, no matter how difficult, and the joy and support he provided to Jaime on her difficult journey with diabetes and dialysis was beyond measure.
Jaime was preceded in death by her grandparents, James and Shirley Dillman and great grandparents, James and Hilda Dillman.
In addition to her fiancee Rick, Jaime is survived by her mother, Denise Schlauch, her step Dad, Alivn Schlauch, uncle Barry Dillman and his wife Kathy with their son Shawn Duffy and wife Sherri and son Kyle; step brothers Jeffery and Tony and a step sister Kim, all of the Carolinas.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service which will be held on Monday, April 7th, at 8 PM at the Stauffer-Breznik Funeral Home, 412 West Main Street, Ringtown. A Viewing will be held from 6-8 PM prior to the service.
Jaime will always be remembered for her laugh, kindness and always making sure everyone was taken care of, even her mom and step dad. Two calls a day from her just to make sure they were ok will be sincerely missed. Her last call at 11:15 AM on April 2nd, and by 2:30 PM our world changed and will never be the same. Rest in peace my dear Jaime, we will always love you.
