Schuylkill Keep It Pretty (SKIP), an affiliate of Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful, is rallying the community for its annual Spring Clean event, scheduled for April 22 through May 4, 2025.
The event aims to bring together residents, organizations, and businesses in a united effort to spruce up the county’s roadways, parks, and public spaces.
SKIP is providing everything volunteers need to roll up their sleeves and get to work: safety vests, gloves, trash bags, and other supplies. The organization is also lending a hand with trash disposal and helping volunteers connect with local cleanup initiatives.
“This event is about more than picking up litter — it’s about taking pride in our communities and working together to make Schuylkill County beautiful,” said the SKIP Chairperson. “We encourage everyone to get involved in whatever way they can.”
Participation is open to everyone — from individuals and families to schools, civic groups, and local businesses. Whether you're organizing your own cleanup or looking to join an existing one, SKIP is ready to support your efforts.
