Born in Pottsville on July 15th, 1955, he was the son of the late Helen (Fenstermacher) and Howard Gerber.
Married 49 years, Ted was the husband of Deborah A. (Krammes).
Ted was a 1973 graduate of Schuylkill Haven High School.
He was employed as an engineer for Yuengling for 35 years.
Ted was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, Friedensburg. He was also a member of the Friedensburg Fish and Game and spent his free time trap shooting.
In addition to his wife, Ted is survived by a son, Jason Gerber, companion of Ashley Kovatch, of Gordon and nieces, Donna Graff and Willow Grove. As well as, a Brother in Law: Dennis Krammes and his wife Sharon of Schuylkill Haven, Nieces: Melissa McCartney, Mississippi, Christine Kellenberger, Reading, Brother in Law: Roger Krammes and his wife Donna of Cressona and a Nephew: Kyle Krammes and his wife Bridget of Schuylkill Haven.
In addition to his parents, Ted is preceded in death by siblings, Carl Gerber and Mary Luckenbill and nephews, Dale and Dave Luckenbill.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held at 11:30 AM on Wednesday, April 30th at Geschwindt Stabingas Ebling Funeral Home, Inc., Schuylkill Haven. A viewing will be held from 10:30 AM until the beginning of the service. Interment will follow at Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.

Dean R. Wertz, 69, of Schneck Dr., Pine Grove, passed away on Thursday, April 24, 2025 at UPMC West Shore Hospital, Mechanicsburg.
Born on May 5, 1955 in Pottsville, he was a son of Anna Gilbert Wertz and the late Richard A. Wertz.
Dean was a 1973 graduate of Pine Grove Area High School.
He was a plumber and worked for Indiantown Gap Military Reservation as well as being a jack-of-all trades.
Dean enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and going upstate to the cabin. He was a social member of the Pine Grove VFW, H. H. & L. Fire Co. #1, and Ten Pin, and was a lifetime member of the Pine Grove Fish and Game and the Pine Grove American Legion, where he was past president of the Sons of the American Legion. He was also a member of the Pine Grove Masonic Lodge #409 F. & A.M.
Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of 50 years, Wanda Morgan Wertz; three daughters, Jennifer Gerhart of Flying Hills, Heather Legarht and significant other Nathan Harwick of Pine Grove, Amy and husband Greg Zimmerman of Pine Grove; five grandchildren, Magdalayne, Mason, and Mitchell Peters, Hadyn Zimmerman, and Ava Legarht; a sister, Missy and husband Jerry Witherow of Pine Grove; nieces and nephews.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 6:30 P.M. at the H. L. Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove, with Pastor Barry Spatz officiating. There will be a visitation on Friday, May 2, 2025 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:30 P.M. at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer contributions be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 312 S. Tulpehocken St., Pine Grove, PA 17963 in his memory.

Jean Louise Marie Leymeister, age 69, of Pottsville, PA passed away Tuesday, April 22nd, 2025 at Geisnger St. Luke's Campus, Orwigsburg.
Born in Pottsville, PA on December 10, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Stanley Joseph and Josephine (Shamus) Toczek.
She was a graduate of Blue Mountain High School, Class of 1974 and then a graduate of Empire Beauty School and was a licensed Cosmetologist. Jean later graduated from SIBT as a licensed Medical Assistant. She worked as a waitress and as an inspector at American Argo in Schuylkill Haven.
Jean was a member of St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church Schuylkill Haven. She enjoyed cooking, yard saling, doing things around the house, and being with kind people.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 3 years, Robert E. Leymeister in 1984 and her dog Wiley.
Jean is survived by her companion and friend Michael Burke; a daughter Lisa Marie Leymeister and her companion AJ Hewes, Friedensburg; Lisa's dog Marlie; a sister Donna Hoffman, Ocala, FL; brothers: Wayne Toczek and Stanley J. Toczek Jr and his wife Mary, both of Orwigsburg; a nephew Andrew Toczek; a niece Cara Tran; a great nephew Brody Tran; and a great niece Livvy Tran.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, Schuylkill Haven on Thursday May 1st at 10:30AM, with Msgr. Edward Zemanik officiating.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Jean's family from 9:15-10:15AM at the Church.
Interment will be held private.
The Robert A Evans Jr Funeral Home, Port Carbon is in charge of arrangements.

Carl J. Kraeuter Sr. 67, of New Ringgold, formerly of Bristol, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025, in his home. He was the husband of Joyce (Therrien) Kraeuter. They were married on March 6, 1982, and celebrated 43 years of marriage.
Prior to retiring, he was a steel worker at Pre Finish Metals Inc., Morrisville. Born in Nazareth, he was the son of the late Carl and Nancy (Gross) Kraeuter. He was of Catholic faith. He honorably served in the U.S. Army. Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was an avid Colts football fan. He loved his family, and he especially enjoyed the times he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Joyce, are two sons, Carl Jr., and his wife Regina, of Southampton, and Michael, of New Ringgold; daughter, Christine Kraeuter, of Bangor; two brothers, Steve, and his wife Celeste, of Bloomsburg, and Mark, and his wife Trish, of Wrightstown; three step-sisters, 11 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service for family and friends will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Arrangements are being handled by the Hartman Funeral Home, 1791 West Penn Pike, Rte. 309, New Ringgold.
