The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for Schuylkill County and nearby Pennsylvania counties.

WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 10 AM TUESDAY MORNING TO 8 PM EDT TUESDAY EVENING...

* WHAT...West winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE... The following counties in Pennsylvania are under this alert:

• Adams
• Clinton
• Columbia
• Cumberland
• Dauphin
• Franklin
• Juniata
• Lancaster
• Lebanon
• Lycoming
• Montour
• Northumberland
• Perry
• Schuylkill
• Snyder
• Union
• York

* WHEN...From 10 AM Tuesday morning to 8 PM EDT Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusty west to northwest winds of similar strength may continue tonight and the Advisory may need to be extended through this time period.
