OSIG Files Welfare Fraud Charges on Over 100 Individuals from Pennsylvania in September and October
STATEWIDE - The Office of State Inspector General (OSIG) filed welfare fraud charges against 127 individuals between September 1 and October 31, 2017. The restitution owed the commonwealth in these cases totals $529,962.46. Additional cost savings will be realized as the defendants will be temporarily disqualified from receiving public benefits in the programs they defrauded.
